an Airbus A320 taking off from LaGuardia Airport in New York City, Shortly
after takeoff, the plane struck a flock of Canada geese and lost power in both
engines at 2800 ft above the ground. Then he take control of the plane from
his co-pilot jeff immediately. And he communicated with LaGuardia Airport
to fly back or to go to closer airport to land safely, but there were no time to
go anywhere as the both engine are damaged. So he decided to land on Hudson
river which was underneath. And that was very risky but later they discovered
that was the only solution to get out of this. And after warning the passengers
and the crew of the flight that they have to land for emergency. He already
could land on the river with 155 people on the plane safely. And all of that
was in just 208 seconds. Then more than 1200 first responders and 7 ferry
boats carrying 130 commuters rescued the passengers and the crew of flight
1549 and that took 24 minutes.
