At the completion of the BSTM Program, the students are expected to:

1. Demonstrate expertise in performing the prescribed range of specific functions of Tourism Management based from the local, national, and international

COURSE DESCRIPTION This course discusses the general knowledge of the transportation, its role to the tourism, planning and policies. The content includes transportation
systems, various aspects of tourism- related forms of transportation, modes of transportation, transportation operation including concepts and methods of
analysis, infrastructure, and geographical and legal factors relating to local and international transportation. Topics include discussions of surface air, and
water transportation, organization, operations, and regulatory and
marketing aspects; examination of the inter-model concept; and the social, economic, and political factors that have influenced government transportation
priorities.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

A. Attendance: Each class hour is equivalent to one (1) point in attendance. Incurring 20% of the total number of hours will be a ground for dropping the students from the roll.
B. Quizzes: Short quizzes may be given without prior announcement. Long quizzes will be announced.
C. Assignments: Homework/assigned tasks are due in class on the day assigned. A student who fails to turn in the given task on time will get a grade of zero (0).
D. Exercises: Exercises shall be submitted on the scheduled date. Late submission will be given a corresponding deduction.
E. Examination: Major examination will be given per term. Failure to take an examination would mean a grade of 50 beyond the 10 day – grace period.
