INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES :
Candidates must read all the instructions carefully
1. All Candidates must bring Admit Card, BLACK INK BALL-POINT PEN and a valid photo Identity proof such as
   Admit card/Registration card etc. or photo identity cards issued by the Government Authority as a proof of
   identity inside the Examination Hall.
2. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the Examination without the Admit Card and it must be produced before
   the Invigilator as and when required.
3. Candidates should enter into the Examination Hall at least 30 minutes before the scheduled examination
   time. No candidate will be allowed to leave the Examination Hall during the examination hours. Examination
   Centre Gate will be closed from 10.30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.
4. Calculators, watches (both analogue and digital) cell phones or any electronic gadget or any objectionable materials,
   erasers (solid or liquid), books, paper etc. are strictly prohibited in the Examination Hall. Possession of any such
   item in the examination hall Will make the candidates liable for disqualification of candidature.
5. After receiving the OMR sheet, the candidate must report to the invigilator immediately if the information details
   printed on the OMR sheet mismatch with the information printed on the Admit Card or OMR Sheet is damaged.
   Note that there will be only one OMR Sheet with pre-printed Roll No., Name, and photo of the candidate, for
   all the questions. No extra OMR Sheet will be provided for any mistake or correction. Before use of the OMR
   Sheet, the candidates have to ensure that the information contained in the OMR Sheet is related to him/her
   only.
6. Candidates must correctly enter the Question Booklet Series Code and Question Booklet No. in the appropriate place
   of OMR Sheet.
7. The Candidates shall sign and also put his/her Left-Hand Thumb Impression on the i) Attendance Sheet, ii) Admit
   Card, and iii) OMR Sheet. The candidates shall sign in the same way as s/he uploaded during submission of the
    Online Application, as appeared in the Admit Card.
8. a) Candidates should read the question carefully and finalize the answer before darkening the correct answer in the
    appropriate circle of the OMR Sheet.
    b) Candidates should not make any stray marking on the OMR Sheet.
    c) Scratching, overwriting, tick marking etc. considered as invalid answer.
    d) Candidates should not staple, fold, pin, wrinkle or damage the OMR Sheet.
    e) Multiple answering will be considered as wrong answer.
    f) Incorrect method of answer will be invalid.
    g) Candidates shall not do any rough work in the OMR Sheet. If any Rough Work is done on the OMR Sheet, then the
    OMR Sheet will not be assessed.
    h) Candidates shall fill the details of the Question Booklet, such as Question Booklet No., Question Booklet series
    Code, etc. in the OMR Sheet carefully.
9. Candidates must note that the OMR sheets are read electronically. Therefore, only one circle/bubble, either (A), (B),
    (C) or (D) is to be darkened completely by only BLACK INK BALL-POINT PEN for each answer on the OMR Sheet.
    The examination conducting authority shall not be responsible for any mistake made by the candidate while filling
    in information in the OMR Sheet. OMR Sheet shall not be replaced under any circumstances, except OMR Sheet is
    damaged and reported by the candidates at the time of distribution of OMR Sheet, within first 5 minutes of
    receiving.
10. Candidates are required to read carefully the instructions mentioned in the First Page (Cover Page) of the
    Question Booklet and OMR Sheet.
11. a) There are altogether- 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
    b) Please check the total number of Questions. In case of any discrepancy observed in this regard, please inform the
    Invigilator for replacement of the Question Booklet.
    c) Total duration of examination is 03 (three) hours.
    d) Four (4) mark will be awarded for every Correct Answer and for every Wrong Answer, One (1) mark will be
    deducted.
    e) No candidate will be allowed to leave the Examination Hall temporarily during the Examinations.
    f) Candidates must sit in his/her allotted seat.
    g) No candidates can leave the designated seat of the Examination Hall till end of the Examination.
    h) Candidates need to maintain discipline before, during and after the examination in the examination centre.
    i) Candidates should do all the necessary Rough Work on the Question Booklet in the space provided. The blank
    spaces and blank sheets attached at the end of the Question Booklet are to be used for rough calculations/works
    only.
    j) Drinking water bottle should be transparent, if carried inside the examination hall.
    k) The examination authority shall reserves the right to frisk the candidate at any moment in examination premises.
12. Candidates have to report immediately if the OMR sheet received is found to be torn/damaged.
13. Permissible items in side the examination hall are -
    (i) Admit Card
    (ii) Proof of identity
    (iii) Black ink ball-point pen
    (iv) Transparent water bottle
    Candidates will have to keep all his/her belongings and materials (other than mentioned above) outside the
    Examination Centre/ Premises at his/her own risk.
14. Candidates shall submit the signed copy of the Admit card and the OMR Sheet to the invigilator before
    leaving the examination hall, failure to do so is automatically cancel his/her candidature.
15. Candidature of any candidate will be cancelled if s/he does not follow the guidelines and instructions and if s/he is
    found to adopt unfair means, in any form as noted by the invigilator/authority.
16. The decision of Assam Science and Technology University with regard to the conduct of the examination shall be
    final and binding to the candidate.
17. Candidates who do not have the minimum educational qualification and whose minimum age is not within
    the prescribed limit as mentioned in the CEE-2025 Information brochure, should not appear in the
    examination. The candidature of suchCandidate is invalid.
18. No candidate shall be allowed to enter the Examination Hall after commencement of Examination, i.e. after
    11 A.M.
NOTE - Admit Card is computer generated; hence signature of issuing authority is not needed.
