Fire Alarm Project Nikhil

The Fire Alarm Project focuses on creating a circuit that detects fire and activates an alarm to enhance safety in homes and industries. It utilizes a thermistor as a temperature sensor, which responds to rising temperatures by decreasing resistance, triggering the alarm. Key components include a tubelight starter, buzzer, 9V battery, wires, and a switch.

FIRE ALARM PROJECT

Abstract:
The Fire Alarm Circuit is a part of the security systems that detects the fire and
activates the Siren Sound or Buzzer. Fire Alarm Circuits are very important
devices used to detect fire at the right time and prevent any damage to people or
property. People are installing alarms on every level of the home, industries, etc.
for safety purposes.

Components we used:
 Tubelight starter
 Buzzer
 9V battery
 Wires
 Switch
Working principle:
In this mini fire alarm project’s circuit, we are using a thermistor as a
temperature sensor because the thermistor is very economical compared to all
other temperature sensors. A thermistor (or thermal resistor) is defined as a type
of resistor whose electrical resistance varies with changes in temperature.
If the temperature increases, the resistance of
the Thermistor decreases. In case of fire, the
temperature increases. This increase in
temperature will reduce the resistance of the 10
K Thermistor. As the resistance decreases, the
output of the voltage divider will increase.
Here, we are using a Tubelight Starter as Thermistor.
