this holiday doing a lot of extreme sports and other exciting outdoor activities)

Dangers of travelling:

Riding a bike is dangerous because there are no cycling paths, bikers must ride on street and cars
drive too fast. Bikers should take trips in the countryside which are safer, more interesting, there is
fresh air, beautiful nature and is romantic. Bikers should wear helmets.

Riding a motorbike is very dangerous. Mostly young people ride motorbikes, they love risk, speed
and danger, they show off, it is their way of life and don't realise the danger. There are no safety belts
on a motorbike so people should wear helmets and keep the speed limit.

Driving a car is dangerous because there are too many cars on the street, drivers are very nervous,
intolerant and impatient and they drive fast. Many of them don't use safety belts and don't follow the
traffic signs and traffic regulations. They should be more tolerant and more patient and follow the
rules.

Arguments for the trip to the seaside:

● There is hot, sunny weather and warm, clean sea
● We can do water sports like diving, swimming, scuba diving, surfing
● We can play beach volleyball and sunbathe on the beach
● We can go to local shops and buy some souvenirs
● We can visit some interesting historical places
● In the evening, we can go to a restaurant to have dinner
● After dinner we can go for a walk or to a disco

Planning a holiday:

When planning a holiday you should answer the two most important questions: How much money do
you have? How much time do you have? Money and time are the biggest factors. Besides you should
decide where you would like to go (destination), how you would like to go (means of transport),
what you would like to do there (activities), where you would like to stay (accommodation), what
and where you would like to eat (catering).
When you have decided and arranged your holiday you can start packing. What you take depends on
how long your trip will be, what the weather will be and where you will go. If you are going for a
long trip, you will need a suitcase but if you are going only for the weekend, you can use a backpack.
You will need warm clothes if you go skiing or trekking in the mountains and light clothes, swimming
costume and sunglasses if you go swimming and sunbathing to the seaside. If you go abroad, you
should take your passport and visa.

Describe your best holiday (when, where, who with, transport, accommodation, catering, activities,
why it was perfect). Use past tenses and positive opinion adjectives (great, excellent, superb, terrific,
brilliant, unforgettable, exciting, perfect, top, lovely, outstanding, unusual, unique).

Describe the longest journey you have ever made. (Where, when, what means of transport,
how long). Use past tenses.
