A star called lumi

Once upon a time, in a big field full of flowers and sunshine, a small mayfly named Lumi was
born. Her wings were shiny like light, and her eyes were full of happiness.
Lumi was a mayfly, and mayflies only live for one day. But Lumi didn’t feel sad. She wanted to
enjoy every moment. She wanted to fly, play, and smile.
In the morning, Lumi met two new friends. One was a little bee named Bunso. He liked to write
poems. The other was a smart dragonfly named Nila. She liked to ask questions.
BUNSO( little bee) : “How does it feel to live only one day?”
LUMI(mayfly): “It feels like a party in my heart—fun and full of love.”
in the afternoon , Lumi started to feel tired. Her wings were not as bright.
NILA(dragon fly): “Are you scared, Lumi?”
LUMI(mayfly): “A little bit. Not because I will go, but because I don’t want to forget this happy
day.”
Then, a beautiful moth with silver wings flew down. Her name was Sora. She smiled kindly.
SORA(moth): “Lumi, I saw you today. You were kind and full of joy. I have something special
for you.”
She gave Lumi a small, glowing necklace called the Heartlight.
SORA(moth): “This is magic. It keeps your happy memories inside. When your time is over, it
will fly to the stars. Your light will shine in the sky, and others will feel your love.”
LUMI(mayfly: “So… a part of me will stay?”
SORA(moth): “Yes. Love never dies. It becomes light.”
Lumi hugged her friends.
BUNSO(little bee): “We will look for your light every night.”
NILA(dragonfly): “We will tell your story to everyone.”

As the sky turned dark, Lumi smiled. She held the Heartlight close. Then she closed her eyes.
That night, a new star appeared in the sky. It was soft, bright, and warm.It was Lumi.
And everyone who saw her star felt a little more love in their hearts.
