 I am a Muslim and follow Fiqah Hanfia.


 According to my faith and the above said fiqah, I am not obliged to pay Zakat on the
following types of assets in the manner laid down in Zakat and usher ordinance 1980
(XVIII of 1980) and in accordance with the decision of Supreme Court of Pakistan
announced on 09th March 1999. (detailed Judgment published in all the newspapers
dated 13th March, 1999) reported in PLD 1999 page 476 according to my faith about
Fiqah.
 Bank Account all types of bank accounts including savings bank account. Notice
deposit account. Fixed deposit account and other account by whatever name
described, with the Bank. Post Office, National Saving Centers and Financial
Institution etc.
 Securities all types including shares, Debentures, N.I.T Units, I.C.P. mutual fund
certificate, Defense Savings Certificate, Special Deposit Certificate/ Account
Premium Saving Certificates and Account thereof Government Securities etc.
 Fund GP Fund, Provident funds Gratuity, Pension and all other officials’ dues,
Annuity etc.
 Loans given to others.
 And all other investment etc. including insurance policies, claims, premiums etc.
 That what is stated above is true to the best of my knowledge and belief.
