Vergil theme for SAM Instructions:
※Please read this instruction carefully before installing this mod. If you have problems, please
check whether it has been mentioned in the instruction first.
1. WARNING:
① It is NOT EASY to create this mod. Please do NOT share it in public. Do NOT or make it
available for secondary dissemination. Do NOT sales. This will seriously affect the enthusiasm
of mod producers.
② Please do NOT modify this mod again and spread it. It doesn't matter if you use it yourself.
③ Please do NOT perform some high-risk behavior with this mod is activated, including but
not limited to: screenshots with your ID, uploading screen recordings with your ID to the public
platform, live broadcasts with your ID, etc. You will be responsible for the consequences.
2. Installation:Textools or Penumbra
Use Textools
1.Download and install TexTools using this link: https://www.ffxiv-textools.net
2.Once TexTools is installed, double click on the .ttmp2 modpack you want to install.
3.Open the game and the mod will be ready to use!
Use Penumbra(*recommend!)
1.To have access to Dalamud and its plugins, you'll need to download XIV Launcher from this
website: https://goatcorp.github.io/faq/
2.After setting up XIV Launcher, install Penumbra following this website:
https://reniguide.info/#installpenumbra.
3.I highly recommend going through Penumbra's tutorial to learn how to use it properly. It's quick
and easy to follow.
3.Packaging instructions
1 Full patch- [DMC]Full patch of Vergil[SAM]vx.x
The Full patch can install all skills, limit skills, and emotes at one time, and I also make some
options for it.
If you are using penumbra,you also can enable and disable any skills or switch the customization
any time.
2 Separate patch
As the name suggests, the Separate patch means that all skills are packed separately.
If you wish to install mod separately, you need to first install the Basic files pack. Then install the
skill mods you need in “Separate patch=拆分独立包” folder.
Notice: Once again, all mods in the Separate patch need to first install the content in the "0-Basic
files package".
3. About Multhit:→there is a more detailed instructions in its folder!
4.About UI/Icon
via penumbra
If you use penumbra,and you want to change skills icons,remember to put the modpack not only
into base collection(or "your character group",but also put it into "interface collection"!!!!
Otherwise all icons will not aviliable!!!
If you don't need them,just remove it from your "interface collection"
via textools
If you use textools,and you want to remove icons,you can use "[Vergil]All icons uninstall-assist
一键卸载图标辅助.ttmp" to help you uninstall them.
how to use: first install all skills which you need(or the fullpack),after all installtion,install the "All
icons uninstall-assist",it will collect all icons into one mod,and last disable it!And then you have
removed all skill icons.
5.About screenquake
Due to the early production of the mod package for this theme and the fact that most of the
screenquake are relatively small, I do not intend to create additional screenquake options for this
theme. However, I have separately created screenquake options for "Shoha".
If you are not accustomed to all screenquake, you can turn off all screenquake through the
"Character Config-Control Settings-General-Enable camera effects when initiating actions."
option in the game.
