Decide if the verbs should be in the Past Simple or Past Continuous.
Story 1
It was a hot day, so I decided (decide) to prepare salad for lunch. Outside, the

followed by a scream. I ran (run) outside to see what happening (happen).
Story 2
On my first day at work I was a bit nervous. I got (get) up early, had (have) a
shower, and drank (drink) some coffee. I was too nervous to eat.
