Dear Mayor Darel Dexter T. Uy ,

I am writing to apply for the student scholarship program offered by the City
Mayor’s Office. I am currently a high school senior at Andres Bonifacio College, where I
have consistently achieved excellent grades and actively participated in various
extracurricular activities. This scholarship will greatly assist me in pursuing my dream of
attending college and obtaining a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in
English/ Physical Education.

Throughout my high school years, I have dedicated myself to both my studies and
my community. I have been involved in Red Cross Youth Volunteer, Dance Troupe Club,
and Science and Mathematics club, which have helped me develop strong leadership
and teamwork skills. These experiences have also taught me the value of giving back to
the community and have inspired me to continue doing so in the future. The financial
support from this scholarship would alleviate the burden on my family and allow me to
focus more on my academic and community service goals.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to apply for this scholarship and for your
consideration of my application. I am confident that with the help of this scholarship, I
will be able to achieve my education, personal goals, help my family, and ultimately
contributing positively to our community. Thank you for your time and consideration.
