■ A unique identifier for accessing and managing your health records on the ABHA system.

ABHA Number Registration Process
OTP Authentication
● Step 1: Download the ABDM-compliant PHR Application: ABHA
● Step 2: Open the ABHA App and select your preferred language.
● Step 3: Click "Register": If the user doesn't have an ABHA Number, click on "Don't have an ABHA Number?
Create Now".
● Step 4: Enter Aadhaar Number. Provide the 12-digit Aadhaar Number.
● Step 5: Agree to Terms and Conditions. Read and agree to the terms and conditions to continue.
● Step 6: Choose Authentication Method: Select “OTP on Mobile Number linked to Aadhaar” for
verification.
● Step 7: Enter OTP: Enter the OTP sent to the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar.
● Step 8: Enter Communication Mobile Number: Provide the mobile number for future communication.
● Step 9: Create ABHA Address: Enter or select an ABHA address (the system will suggest available
addresses). Choose or create a new ABHA address of your preference.
● Step 10: Final Confirmation: ABHA Number is successfully created, and you’ll get a confirmation message.
ABHA Number Registration Process
Face Authentication
● Step 1: Open ABHA App : Ensure you have an Android phone as Face Authentication is supported only on
Android.
● Step 2: Choose "Login" and "Create Now": If you don’t have an ABHA number, click on “Create Now”.
● Step 3: Enter Aadhaar Number: Provide your Aadhaar number and consent to proceed.
● Step 4: Choose Face Authentication: Select the Face Authentication option (available only on Android).
● Step 5: Authenticate via RD Service App: Authenticate using your face with the RD Service app to match
your Aadhaar photo.
● Step 6: Provide Communication Mobile Number: Enter your mobile number for communication
purposes.
● Step 7: Enter ABHA Address: Choose or create an ABHA address. You can use suggested addresses or
create your own.
● Step 8: Final Confirmation" ABHA Number and Address are generated successfully, with a confirmation
message.
ABHA Address Registration Process
Mobile Number
● Step 1: Download the ABDM-compliant PHR Application: Download and install the ABHA-compliant PHR
app.
● Step 2: Open ABHA Application: Select your language.
● Step 3: Click on “Register” and Select “Mobile Number”: Choose the Mobile Number option for
registration.
● Step 4: Enter Mobile Number: Input your mobile number.
● Step 5: OTP Verification: An OTP will be sent to the provided mobile number. Enter the OTP to verify.
● Step 6: Choose or Create ABHA Address: You can either use an existing ABHA address or create a new
one by entering demographic details.
● Step 7: Provide Demographic Details: Enter Full Name, Email Address, Date of Birth, Gender, Address,
State, District, and Pin Code.
● Step 8: Agree to Terms: Select “I agree” to proceed.
● Step 9: Set Password: Set a password for your ABHA account.
Creating ABHA Address via ABHA Number
● Step 1: Download the ABDM-compliant PHR Application: Install the ABHA-compliant app.
● Step 2: Open the ABHA Application: Choose your language.
● Step 3: Click on “Register” and Enter ABHA Number:Provide your ABHA number.
● Step 4: OTP Verification: Choose the OTP method to verify your identity (OTP sent to the
mobile linked with Aadhaar or ABHA Number).
● Step 5: View or Create ABHA Address: The system will fetch existing ABHA addresses
linked with the ABHA number. You can either login to an existing address or create a new
one.
● Step 6: Provide ABHA Address: Choose or create your ABHA address from suggestions
and set a password.
● Step 7: Final Confirmation" Your ABHA Address is successfully created, and you’ll receive
a confirmation message.
