merit list, and applications to MIT-WPU. However, your admission seat can only be secured after paying
the first instalment of your tuition fee. As a part of the admission process, it is your responsibility to

Each year MIT-WPU awards scholarships to encourage and motivate bright students. The number, value,
eligibility criteria and type of scholarships vary from programme to programme and year to year. All
scholarships are based on academic merit of the students.
Furthermore, MIT-WPU has established partnerships with prominent banks and financial institutions
to provide its students with convenient access to education loans, enabling them to pursue higher
education regardless of their financial circumstances.

MIT-WPU collects student information for various essential tasks related to running a higher
education institution. This includes registration, teaching allocations, monitoring and assessment
of academic progress, entry to examinations, management of health and safety, planning,
maintenance of order, and contacting family in emergencies.
The university also conducts internal surveys to assess and improve the teaching-learning
ecosystem. All student information is treated confidentially and in compliance with both
university guidelines and Indian government mandates.

Induction Programme
After your admission to MIT-WPU is confirmed, it is mandatory for you to attend the welcome
induction event of your School. Additionally, the university and your specific School provide
various optional engagement activities during that week to help ease your transition into Pune
and MIT-WPU. These activities are designed to make the process as smooth and effortless as
possible.

Confirmation of Your Admission


The student who has been provisionally admitted to MIT-WPU will be provided with a Permanent
Registration Number (PRN). The PRN will be issued by MIT-WPU only after the student has:

After completing the steps mentioned above, you will receive a confirmation email from us that
includes your PRN, login credentials for the student ERP, and details on how to complete the
eligibility process. These details will be sent to you through a series of emails on your registered

email or phone.
