Hand-picked from herds that graze high above sea level in Northern Europe,
all leather hides used to upholster the Bentayga are naturally free of the
insect bites that could otherwise leave blemishes in the leather.
YOUR VENEER
Open Pore Koa
The open pore finishing process perfectly highlights the natural
grain and figure of wood. This delicate technique, applying
ultra-thin layers of lacquer by hand, allows the natural texture
of the wood to be felt by both driver and passenger alike.
Koa is mostly found on the Hawaiian Islands and loves the volcanic ash slopes of the island volcanos. Koa is a blend of blonde
wood with rich red overtones and dependant of its elevation changes the mix of red in the tree. Koa has been used by the
Hawaiians for canoe and surf boards because of its relative strength to weight and is now prized in guitar manufacture as it
creates a warm tonal quality to acoustic guitars as well as looking beautiful.
