Job Overview

He/she will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring timely completion,
budget adherence, and quality standards. The GM will lead the various construction teams (companies), manage
resources, negotiate contracts, engage subcontractors, facilitate the recruitment of key business heads,
implement safety protocols, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver successful projects.

Key Responsibilities

 Responsible for overseeing the completion of construction projects by handling planning, budgeting, and
making key decisions to ensure that construction projects are in conformity with the proposed budget and
are completed on time.
 Negotiate contracts, with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and other professionals.
 Coordinate with architects, engineers, MEP managers and other construction and building specialists to
ensure project plans and designs are feasible and within legal and regulatory standards. Conflict resolution
and dispute management
 Post-project evaluation and lessons learned integration
 Foster collaboration between design teams, procurement teams, and site managers to ensure seamless
project execution.
 Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address challenges, and maintain project momentum.

Qualification and Experience

 A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's
degree in a related field is preferred.
 A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in construction, with a strong track record of progression from
entry-level positions to senior leadership roles.
 Relevant certifications, such as OSHA, LEED, or PMP, are highly desirable.
 Experience in diverse construction projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure.
 Practical experience in various aspects of construction, including planning, design, execution, and project
management.
 A proven track record of successful project completions
 Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
 Outstanding leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team of professionals and
tradespeople.

Job Title: Senior Architect

Reports to: Development Manager

Role overview

The Architect is responsible for designing and developing architectural plans, ensure the successful integration of
architectural designs with structural and civil engineering elements in all construction projects. This role involves
working closely with the Development Manager, Consultants, Quantity Surveyor, and other stakeholders to
ensure that designs meet project requirements and are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities:

 Design and develop architectural plans in line with approved specifications and budget.
 Secure all permits, licenses, and approvals from external authorities and agencies as required
 Create detailed architectural plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
 Utilize hand and 3D software renderings to communicate design concepts.
 Review all building documents during the quality assurance process with a focus on accurate and realistic
details.
 Investigate alternatives and perform value engineering throughout the design process
 Review and manage contracts and tenders.
 Attend project meetings with stakeholders, including the Development Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and
consultants.
 Lead and coordinate the work of architects and drafters.

Qualifications and Experience

 Bachelor's degree in Architecture.


 Must be a Licensed Architect and a member of the Association in Ghana
 7+ years of experience in architectural design and development.

procurement teams to ensure financial efficiency while maintaining quality and compliance with project
requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

 Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment for construction projects.
 Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial projections.
 Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate project financial viability.
 Manage the tendering process, including preparing tender documents and evaluating tenders.
 Prepare and evaluate tender documents, including bills of quantities (BOQs) and specifications.
 Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance.
 Assist in negotiating contracts and procurement terms with vendors and subcontractors.

Qualifications and Experience

 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying.
 Proficiency in cost estimation software (Candy, CostX, AutoCAD, MS Excel, or similar tools).
 Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and value engineering.
