Update Notes
• If you are continuing from v0.01, your priorities during FREEROAM #3 should be to visit Lindsay in the Screaming Gopher girls’ cabin (in the
Evening) to play the first round of her minigame, to find Izzy to start her quest (and then steal Eva’s panties first in the Morning), and to
invite Eva to the hot tub for her scene there. All of the new FREEROAM content in this build has been backported to FREEROAM #2 also,
but you can continue your save without missing any content if you make sure to do those three things immediately.
General Gameplay
• Total Degeneracy Island is first and foremost a relationship simulator. You play as an OC contestant on the island and show, interacting with
the characters you already know and love, becoming their friends or enemies as you compete to not get eliminated! Your choices in the
game and especially during Challenges will influence how the other campers will treat you, and determine which quests and eventually h-
scenes will be available to you.

• Player relationships are tracked on a scale from 0-100, and player choices during Challenges and FREEROAM sections will increase or
decrease this value. In this guide, all choices that affect relationships are labeled +X REL or –X REL. Often, pivotal choices will increase REL
with one or more characters while decreasing it with others, so choose carefully and determine which characters you want to prioritize!

• The first and biggest choice you must make is which of the two competing teams to join: the Screaming Gophers or the Killer Bass. Because
challenges and eliminations are scripted (for the most part), neither team has a tactical advantage over the other, but this choice will set
the tone for the whole rest of your playthrough: many dialog options and quests even outside of h-scenes will change based on which
team you choose. For this reason, we recommend at least two playthroughs to make sure you see all content. You can use the Team
Breakdown section to determine which team will reward the scenes you want most.

• During FREEROAM, you can move freely around the island to any location you’ve previously unlocked. The other campers will be scattered
about, also changing locations based on the day and time. A day is split into four time periods: Morning, Noon, Evening, and Night. Outside
of the very first FREEROAM, time will advance automatically after 4 camper interactions or a single h-scene. FREEROAM sections will
generally fall into one of two categories, weekday sections and weekend sections. Weekday sections take place between a Challenge and
that week’s elimination ceremony, and will provide campers with the opportunity to try and influence each other’s elimination votes. This
is why it’s important to maintain your REL with as many characters as possible, because if you ever find yourself in the hot seat, getting
eliminated will mean a game over. Weekend sections take place between an elimination ceremony and the next Challenge, and are shorter
and generally lower-pressure.

• When you choose to talk to a character in FREEROAM, several dialog options will appear. For now, there are few-if-any choices in these
dialogs, and anything other than the “Girls” and “Vote” options will reward you with a flat +2 REL with that character. If a character has an
active event (denoted by a ! next to their portrait in the UI), it will bypass this choice and play the event automatically.

• The voting mechanic is just for show, and campers will be eliminated in the same order they were on the show. The exception to this is if
your actions result in you being up for elimination, in which case accumulating too many votes will result in a game over.

Walkthrough – Week 1
• Dock intro – Enter your name whenever Chris asks.
• Campfire intro – Choose between the Screaming Gophers and Killer Bass for your team. This choice will determine which scenes are
available to you during your playthrough, and will immediately provide +20 REL to each member of the team you choose and -10 REL to the
opposite team. See the Team Breakdown section to help make your choice.
• FREEROAM #1 – You are confined to the Cabins Ext. and Cabin Ints. for this FREEROAM. Meet the other campers and get a feeling for who
you want to make friends or alliances with!
• Find your bunk - Killer Bass, enter the farthest-left cabin door. Screaming Gophers, enter the farthest-right door.
• Meet the other campers – The other 22 campers are all either in the Cabins Ext. or one of the four Cabin Ints. Find and talk to them all
in the Evening, because at Night you will only have access to your team’s Cabin Int. See the FREEROAM Camper Locations section at
the end of this guide for exact camper locations.
• When talking with Bridgette and Geoff, choose “Agree with Geoff” for +3 REL with him but -3 REL with Bridgette. Choose “Agree
with Bridgette” for -3 REL with Geoff and +3 REL with Bridgette instead.
• When talking with Noah and Cody, choose “Play along” for +3 REL with Cody, or “Burst his bubble” for -3 REL instead.
• When talking with Heather and Lindsay, choose “Antagonize her” for -5 REL with Heather (but much better dialog!).
• When talking with Katie and Sadie, choose “Offer a solution” for +3 REL with both girls.
• When talking with Owen, choose “Praise him” for +3 REL with him.
• Challenge #1 Cliff Jump – Killer Bass will have to choose between “Jump naked” and “Make Eva do it”.
• “Jump naked” will award +20 REL with Eva, +10 REL with each of the other Killer Bass, and +5 REL with each Screaming Gopher girl.
This choice also results in some funnier confessional dialog.
• “Make Eva do it” will result in -60 REL with Eva, but you get her scene. NOTE: there will be no way to recover this REL before Eva is
eliminated, so you will miss out on her future scenes.
• Challenge #1 Hot Tub Minigame – You will have to construct a hot tub out of the provided pieces. Screaming Gophers will have access to
the blueprints, Killer Bass will not. See the Minigame Guide section for the finished image.
• FREEROAM #2 – You can now freely visit any location on the island you’ve been to previously. You have four days to explore and talk to the
other campers. Your first priority should be talking to Courtney in the Evening or Night to get her scene. Then you should visit Lindsay in the
Screaming Gopher girls’ cabin (in the Evening) to play the first round of her minigame, talk to Izzy to start her quest (and steal Eva’s panties
first, in the Morning, because her time on the island is limited!), and concentrate on maxxing out your relationship with Eva so you can
invite her to the hot tub and get the full scene there (only available if you did the naked jump in Challenge #1!).
• Vote – You must vote who to eliminate between Courtney and Ezekiel. If you viewed Courtney’s scene, Ezekiel will be the only available
option. Ezekiel will be eliminated either way.
• FREEROAM #3 – Speak to Izzy and complete the next part of her quest, then focus on building up your REL with all other campers to get
their votes and hot tub scenes.
Walkthrough – Week 2
• Challenge #2 Running – You can choose where you want to run. During the Awake-A-Thon section
• “Run at the front!” will award an animated jogging scene with Lindsay and +5 REL with her.
• “Run in the middle!” will award an animated jogging scene with Bridgette and +5 REL with her.
• “Run at the back!” will not award any scene.
• Challenge #2 Awake-A-Thon – There will be extra dialog between Lindsay and Heather if your REL with Lindsay is 50 or higher. Next, you
must choose which girl to spend time with during the challenge – Bridgette or Courtney for the Killer Bass, Gwen or Izzy for the Screaming
Gophers. Each choice will award you +5 REL with that girl. Gwen is the only one who awards a scene here.
• Challenge #2 Sheep Minigame – If you are on the Screaming Gophers team and picked Gwen to spend time with, you need to reach a score
of 32 or higher to get her scene at the end of the challenge. If you are on the Killer Bass, you will actually want to score more than 20 but
less than 32, otherwise you will lose -10 REL with the whole team and be up for elimination. You can still avoid being eliminated here if
your RELs are high enough, but it’s easier to not have to worry about it. Otherwise, your score doesn’t matter much, but you’ll get more
interactions with your chosen girl the higher your score is.
• FREEROAM #4 – Because of how long the last challenge took, this is a shortened FREEROAM section! You’ll want to prioritize talking to
Heather and then Eva to complete the MP3 player quests. You’ll get +10 REL with Eva for doing so successfully, as well as an animated
scene if you are on the Screaming Gophers or did the Challenge #1 naked jump. You’ll also want to invite Eva to the hot tub with you, but
try to get your REL to 100 with her first for the full nude scene. Otherwise, you can play the next round of Lindsay and Izzy’s minigames,
and try to raise your REL and get more hot tub scenes.
• Choosing “Suggest an alliance” with Heather will give +5 REL with her and set the tone for future Heather interactions and scenes.
• Choosing “Blackmail her” instead will give -20 REL with her and set the tone for future Heather interactions and scenes.
• Vote – If you are on the Killer Bass and scored less than 20 or more than 32 during the Challenge #2 minigame, you will be in danger of
elimination! Make sure your REL is 70 or higher with at least half of the remaining campers to avoid being voted off! Otherwise, the choice
will be between Harold and Eva, and Eva will be eliminated. If you get eliminated, there’s a fun bonus ending that plays, but it does
ultimately result in a GAME OVER.
• FREEROAM #5 – Play the next round of Lindsay and Izzy’s minigames, if applicable. Otherwise keep raising your REL with everyone to get
their future votes and hot tub scenes.
Walkthrough – Week 3
• Challenge #3 Dodgeball Minigame – Each time you play this minigame is just for fun; your score will not affect anything story-wise.
• Challenge #3 Second Match – After Lindsay gets hit, if you are on the Screaming Gophers you will get a choice between “Go to her!” and
“Let someone else do it.”
• “Go to her!” will unlock her animated scene, but put you up for elimination this week and cost -10 REL with the other Screaming
Gophers and -20 REL with Heather which you’ll need to gain back if you don’t want a GAME OVER. You will also get the choice to “Add
insult to injury” to Tyler, which will result in -60 REL with him that will not be able to be regained.
• “Let someone else do it.” will unlock a pinup of Katie instead.
• FREEROAM #6 – Play the next round of Lindsay and Izzy’s minigames, if applicable. Otherwise keep raising your REL with everyone to get
their future votes and hot tub scenes. Remember, you need to have 70 REL or more with each other camper to secure their vote if you are
up for elimination!
• Vote – If you are on the Screaming Gophers and left the dodgeball game with Lindsay during Challenge #2, you will be in danger of
elimination! Make sure your REL is 70 or higher with at least half of the remaining campers to avoid being voted off! Otherwise, the choice
will be between Lindsay and Noah, and Noah will be eliminated. If you get eliminated, there’s a fun bonus ending that plays, but it does
ultimately result in a GAME OVER.
• FREEROAM #7 – Play the next round of Lindsay and Izzy’s minigames, if applicable. Otherwise keep raising your REL with everyone to get
their future votes and hot tub scenes.

“Forget it” avoids the REL loss but also skips the second half of the scene.
