TECHNICAL RESTRICTIONS OF THE LIMITED USER

READ RIGHTS “Read” access to data contained in the ERP solution through any client accessing the
application via the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Application Programming Interface (API)
including but not limited to the Microsoft Windows client for Microsoft Dynamics NAV,
the Web Client for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Portal
framework for Microsoft SharePoint.

WRITE RIGHTS “Write” access to a maximum of 3 Application Tables in the object range 0 – 99.999.999
other than the General Ledger Entry table (Table 17) through any client accessing the
application via the Microsoft Dynamics NAV API. Access to the General Ledger Entry
Table requires a Full User. If more than 3 application tables are required then a Full User is
needed.

WRITE RIGHTS “Write” access via the Time registration functionality provided in the Microsoft Windows
client for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Portal framework
for Microsoft SharePoint with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013.

WRITE RIGHTS “Write” create any scenario using the the tables included and combine with the 3 table
limitation.

WRITE RIGHTS “Write” A certain amount of System tables are excluded. Information on table numbers
excluded will be found on MSDN.

“Write”This is enforced per user. When you assign permissions to a user, you will not be
allowed to give write permissions to more than 3 application tables per user.

“Write”Usage of tables (maximum number being 3) within the Registered Solution Pro-
gram range – 1.000.000 - 99.999.999 is also allowed.

“Write”The user can write back through not limited to the Microsoft Windows client for
Microsoft Dynamics NAV, the Web Client for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and the Microsoft
Dynamics NAV Portal framework for Microsoft SharePoint.

“Write” In order to perform the list of predefined roles additional tables have been in-
cludeed into the Limited User license. A list of these tables can be found in the Perpetual
License guide on PartnerSource, CustomerSource or www.microsoft.com.
