can’t take double steps from the last stone).
Q3. 600 men can make a road in 500 days. They start working together but after every
hundred days, 50 men leave the work. Find the total time (in days) it takes to make the
road.
Q4. The average age of mother, father and son was 44 years at the time of marriage of the
son. After 1 year an infant is born and after 5 years of marriage, the average age of the
family becomes 37 years. Find the age of the bride at the time of the marriage.
Q5. Suppose a man had some amount in his wallet, he knows a bank that doubles the
money immediately but the fee at the entrance of the bank is Rs 1000 and Rs 1000 as the
exit fee. The man visited 3 branches of the same bank and when he left the last bank he
had Rs 0 in his wallet. Find out what was the initial amount?
