1.

One afternoon, I was at a busy shopping mall when I noticed a little boy standing alone
near the entrance of a toy store. He looked around anxiously, and I could tell he was lost. At
first, I hesitated, unsure if I should approach him, but I knew I couldn’t just ignore him.

I walked up to him and gently asked, “Are you okay? Where’s your mom or dad?” His eyes
filled with tears as he told me he couldn’t find his mother. He looked scared, so I tried to
comfort him by telling him that we would find her together. I asked for his mother’s name, but
he was too nervous to remember much.

Instead of leaving him alone, I decided to take him to the nearest security desk. As we
walked, I kept talking to him about his favorite toys to help calm him down. When we
reached the security guard, I explained the situation, and they quickly made an
announcement over the speakers.

A few minutes later, a worried woman came rushing toward us. As soon as the boy saw her,
he ran into her arms, crying with relief. His mother thanked me repeatedly for staying with
him and making sure he was safe. Seeing how happy and relieved they both were made me
feel really good inside. It was a small act, but it reminded me how important it is to help
others whenever we can.

2.Recently, I received a prize for winning a school writing competition, and it was one of the
most exciting moments of my life. The competition was about creative storytelling, and I had
worked really hard on my entry. I spent days brainstorming ideas, writing multiple drafts, and
making sure every detail in my story was meaningful. Even though I was proud of my work, I
wasn’t sure if I would win because so many talented students had also participated.

The day of the results, I sat nervously in the school auditorium as the winners were
announced. My heart pounded as I listened to the names being called. Then, to my surprise,
I heard my name. For a moment, I couldn’t believe it—I had actually won! As I walked up to
the stage to receive my prize, I could feel my classmates and teachers clapping for me, and I
was overwhelmed with happiness.

I received a beautifully designed certificate and a gift card as my prize. But more than that, I
felt an incredible sense of achievement. My teachers and friends congratulated me, and my
family was really proud when I told them the news. That night, I celebrated with my family,
and they encouraged me to keep writing.

Winning this prize meant a lot to me because it wasn’t just about recognition—it was proof
that my hard work and creativity had paid off. It gave me more confidence in my abilities and
motivated me to keep improving. That moment will always be special to me, and I hope to
participate in more competitions in the future.

3.One of the experiences that made me feel confident in my studies was preparing for and
successfully delivering a class presentation. It was for an important project, and I knew I had
to do well because it was a big part of my final grade. At first, I felt nervous about speaking in
front of my classmates, but I decided to put in extra effort to make sure I was fully prepared.
I spent weeks researching my topic, organizing my ideas, and creating an engaging
slideshow. I practiced several times at home, standing in front of a mirror and timing myself
to ensure I stayed within the time limit. I even asked a friend to listen and give me feedback.
The more I practiced, the more confident I became.

On the day of the presentation, I still felt a little nervous, but as soon as I started speaking, I
focused on explaining my points clearly. I made sure to maintain eye contact with my
classmates, use hand gestures, and speak with a steady voice. As I went on, I realized that I
was actually enjoying the experience. By the time I finished, I felt a wave of relief and pride.

When my teacher praised my presentation and my classmates clapped, I felt an incredible

sense of accomplishment. That moment made me realize that confidence comes from
preparation and practice. Since then, I have felt much more comfortable speaking in front of
others, and I now look forward to similar challenges instead of fearing them. This experience
taught me that stepping out of my comfort zone can lead to growth and greater self-belief.
