动词不定式是非谓语动词的一种，可以简单认为是 to+ 谓语动词的表现形式， 即 to +动词原形

1. 不定式做主语

不定式作主语时，有时可以用 It 作形式主语

It is important for us to be active throughout our lives.来自 SWT： active lifestyles/

积极生活态度）

= To be active throughout our lives is important

A lot of research has been carried out to find the best ways to conserve mammal diversity.

（来自 SWT：Mammals / 哺乳动物）

2. 带形式主语 It 的常见类型（ PTE 常用句型）

句型一： it is + 形容词+ （for/ of sb.）+ to do sth. 做某事….

长期占据 PTE 写作 C 位的句型：

It is important/ significant/ vital for sb to do sth 做某事对某人很重要

It is convenient for sb to do sth 做某事对某人很具有便利性

It is difficult/easy for sb to do sth 做某事对某人很困难/容易

It is possible/ impossible for sb to do sth 做某事对人很有可能/没有可能

句型二： it is + a pleasure/ a pity / an honour ….+ to do sth. 做某事很高兴/可惜/荣

句型三： it takes (sb ) + 时间+ to do sth 某人花费了多长时间去做某件事

注意区分： spend a lot of time in doing sth / on sth


4. 不定式做副词表示目的 （为了…..）

a. 不定式放在末尾

The local government has adopted new measures to deal with air pollution

b. 不定式放在句首

To preserve those buildings, only a few people are admitted each day

c. 为了加强语气，可以表述为： in order to 或者 so as to

In order to illustrate my talk, I have brought along three objects

=I have brought along three objects so as to illustrate my talk


5. 不定式表示结果

Too + 形容词/ 副词+ for sb + to do sth， 作为结果状语的一种形式，表示为“太….而不能”，

具有否定意义

Too ….to 的用法可以和 so… that 进行互换
