My Holidays

Despite/In spite of the covid my holidays have been pretty cool. After school, on the 23, all my family
were excited, finally Christmas Holidays!!! We had already put up the tree on the 21st but we had
not decorated it, so we decorated the tree and our entire House, it was beautiful. On Christmas Eve,
we had been usually in Bilbao with all my family helping my grandma to set the table and prepare
the food. This time we had to do it alone and after opening the cool presents, a feeling of missing
something very much came up. That wasn´t bad, because the next days we did some great and fun
Things, that distracted us from that feeling. On the 27th my family went to our country house next to
my grandma´s in Zamora. We wanted at least to see her although with the mask and the distance,
we really didn´t want to take any risks. Days passed very fast and New Year's Eve came. Our grandma
brought us very much food, she loves cooking, and we aet it, it was delicious. We enjoyed it and
faster as we thought it was already 11 o'clock. Because this year were so strange, my family didn't
want to see the normal carillon/Las campanadas, instead we saw them with a youtuber called Ibai.It
was very cool. I couldn't swallow the grapes fast enough neither my sister. Both of us had our
mouths full and that was silly. But It was New Year!!!, friends and family called us, and we celebrate
it playing cards, games seeing films and at 3am we needed to go to bed. On the next day we went
back home and had normal days till el dia de Reyes. We woke up and opened the presents i´m very
thankful about what they brought me, and everything was perfect. I wouldn’t consider this my but
they werent bad at alll.actually im very thankfull to every people that put on the mask obuesly this is
going to be finish this year well that’s what I hope.
