What is Social Media?


Social media is a way to connect with people online. It is a place where people can share
photos, videos, messages, and news.
Popular social media platforms are Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. Many people
use Instagram to post pictures and stories. On TikTok, people make short videos, often with
music or dancing. Facebook is good for chatting with friends and family. On YouTube, you
can watch or upload videos.
People use social media every day. Some people use it for fun. Others use it for work. Many
businesses and famous people also use social media to talk to their fans.
But social media can also be bad. Sometimes people see fake news or negative comments.
It’s important to be careful and use social media in a good way.
