USG OF KUB REGION

RIGHT KIDNEY :- Right kidney is normal in size and shows normal corticomedullary
diferentiation. Cortical thickness is normal. No evidence of any
hydronephrosis, renal calculior mass lesion is seen.
Right kidney = 10.7 cm.

LEFT KIDNEY :- Left kidney is normal in size and shows normal corticomedullary
differentiation. Cortical thickness is normal. No evidence of any
hydronephrosis, renal calculi or mass lesion is seen.
Left kidney =10.5cm.

URETER Ureters are not visualized hence not dilated.

URINARY BLADDER:- Urinary bladder is normal in size. Wall is thickened.


No intraluminal lesion is seen.
Post void study shows 60 ml residual urine in urinary bladder.

PROSTATE : Prostate is enlarged in size with homogeneous echopatern.


Median lobe is prominent.
Prostate volume = 42 cc.

IMPRESSION 1)Prostatomegaly.
2) Thickened urinary bladder wallwith 60 ml of post void residual urine volume.
Clinical correlation &relevant study suggested.
