1GHZ or greater Pentium 3 or equivalent class CPU
128 MB of RAM
1 GB or more hard drive space
DirectX 9.0 compatible video card
16 bit DirectX compatible sound card
24x CD-ROM drive

INSTALLING THE GAME

This game requires 2 CDs for installation. Only Disk 1 (Install/Play Game CD) is needed
once the game is installed. The installation for most CD players will occur automatically
as follows:
1. Please temporarily disable your antivirus program; consult your antivirus manual. Not
doing so may cause problems upon installation.
2. Insert the Disk 1 (Install/Play Game CD) into your CD-ROM drive.
3. The installer program on the Disk 1 (Install/Play Game CD) should begin
automatically. If it does not start automatically then see the next section below.
4. Follow the instructions on the monitor to complete the installation.

If your installer program does not automatically start up:

1. Double-click on the My Computer icon (or browse your My Computer directory).
2. Double-click the CD-ROM drive where you inserted the Disk 1 (Install/Play Game
CD).
3. Double-click on the Setup application.
4. Follow the instructions on the monitor to install the game.
The installer program copies certain files from the Disk 1 (Install/Play Game CD) onto
the computer’s internal hard drive and into a folder named > Nancy Drew > The White
Wolf of Icicle Creek. By default, the files are installed to Program Files. The game
program remembers this folder’s name and location on the hard drive. After you install
the game, do not move the Nancy Drew folder or its contents.
NOTE: If you choose an installation folder other than the default one, do not choose a
folder for a previously installed Nancy Drew game (for example, if you have The
Creature of Kapu Cave installed, then do not select >Nancy Drew>The Creature of Kapu
Cave as your installation folder.)

PLAYING THE GAME

Start the game by clicking on the “Play Nancy Drew Games” icon on your desktop or

highlighted as the default game to play. Click on the PLAY button to start the game. You
will be able to start other Nancy Drew games that are installed on your computer from
this launch screen.
