Responsibility
1.Deploy only trained, safety inducted, medically fit workers to
work.
2. Ensure provision of approved gate passes & required PPE's. Safety Site Engineer/ Site
helmet, safety shoes, safety goggle & reflective jacket. EHS Engineer.
3. Work to be carried out under competent supervision.
1. Removal of obstruction from passage way/gangway
2.All required & necessary PPE's shall be used.
3. supervisor will ensure the activity.
4.Deploy required manpower as per Site Engineer/ Site
weight & size of material. 5. Ensuring Proper EHS Engineer.
Access 6.Conduct Training
on lifting techniques.
1.Use eye protection as needed. Keep tools used for
cutting, sharp at all times. 2.Never use
screwdrivers as chisels or pry bars. 3.Never alter a
tool. 4Use tools only for
the intended use. 5.Insure all guards are in
place. 6.Insure blade is sharp and set at
proper depth. 7.Turn dust collection system on, if
provided.
8. If noise level is high, use ear protection.
9.Wear dust mask if dust collection is not provided. 10.Use
proper blades for material being cut. 11.
Training on the hazards and control measures related to equipment's
& related works to be conducted by the vendor (weekly, fortnightly,
monthly)
12. Toolbox talks to be given by the vendor to the work force daily Site Engineer/ Site
for the precautions to be taken in the activity. EHS Engineer.
13. Storage area to be barricaded and warning signages to be
displayed at the location.
14. Safety helmet, safety shoes, hand gloves, reflective jacket,
goggles, nose mask to be used.
15. Lighting to be provided for clear visibility.
1. Scaffold to be erected on levelled and firm ground with base plates
2. Screening of workers to be done along with height phobia test.
3. Trained & experienced workers to be engaged for erection and dismantling of scaffold
4. Access to be provided for reaching the work location.
5. Working Platform to be fully boarded / 600 mm width & secured, mid rails, handrails and toe
board to be provided.
6. Double lanyard full body harness with shock absorber to be used by the workers doing the
scaffolding.
7. Loose material not to be kept on top of scaffold and not to be overloaded.
8. Hand tools, materials to be secured so that it will not fall even if mishandled. Site Engineer/ Site
9. Training for scaffolders to be done by the vendors (weekly, fortnightly, monthly).
10. Safety Helmet, Shoes, Hand gloves to be used. EHS Engineer.
11. While erection and dismantling, safety watcher need to be deployed and barricading the
area below to be done and display of signage to be done as per the activity.
12. Material not to be thrown from the top of the scaffold / elevated levels.
13. Lifeline to be provided for anchoring the safety harness.
14. Electrical cables not to be routed / anchored through the scaffolds towers / frames.
15. Lighting to be provided for clear visibility.
16. Work not to be permitted in case of inclement weather conditions.
17. Training on emergency rescue to be conducted for the workers engaged in the activity.
18. Use only good condition of scaffolding components for the erection of scaffolding.
1. Provide barrication / safety signages to
avoid unauthorised entry at work location. 2.
Loose materilas will not be left on plateform. 3. Site Engineer/ Site
Adequate supervision to be provided at all time EHS Engineer.
4. Conduct job specific training to all crew.
