Volunteer Release of Liability and Waiver Form
-PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT THAT AFFECTS
YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. YOUR SIGNATURE BELOW INDICATES THAT YOU HAVE READ,
UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT THESE TERMS-
Staff from Emirates Nature, in Association with World Wide Fund for Nature, (“EN-WWF”)
shall be present during volunteer events. It is the responsibility of each volunteer to
exercise safety precautions and participate in EN-WWF’s activities at his/her own risk.
This Volunteer Release of Liability and Waiver (the “Release”) applies to all persons providing
volunteer services to EN-WWF (the “Volunteers”). This Release must be signed by all adult
Volunteers (18 years of age or older) or by a parent or court appointed guardian (the “Parent”) of
any volunteer who is a minor (under 18 years of age).
In consideration of being allowed to visit and participate in field activities around the United Arab
Emirates, I, the undersigned, as an adult Volunteer and/or Parent of a Volunteer who is a minor (for
myself and on behalf of the minor), hereby freely, voluntarily and without duress execute this
Release under the following terms:
I AGREE TO HOLD HARMLESS, INDEMNIFY AND DEFEND EN-WWF against all claims, causes of
action, damages, judgment, cost and/or expense, including attorney’s fees and other costs, which
may in any way arise from my and/or my minor child(ren)’s or ward(s)’s participation in the
Activities (as defined below), my and/or my minor child(ren)’s or ward(s)’s use of, or presence at,
any property or facility used by EN-WWF.
1) ACTIVITIES. As a Volunteer and/or Parent of a minor Volunteer, I acknowledge that I
and/or my minor child(ren) or ward(s) shall be involved in, or exposed to, activities that
may involve significant risk. I understand that these activities may include, but are not
limited to: participating in kayaking, hiking, beach clean-up, using tools and equipment,
carbon offsetting activities, camera trapping, habitat restoration, wild life scanning,
monitoring water quality, and surveying activities (the “Activities”). I further understand
that I and/or my minor child(ren) or ward(s) shall not be paid for the Activities or for any
volunteer services and that participation in the Activities may be terminated at any time by
EN-WWF.
2) ENVIRONMENTAL GUIDELINES. I, on my own behalf and/or on behalf of my minor
child(ren) or ward(s), acknowledge that it is strictly forbidden within the area(s) in which
the Activities is taking place to dump waste or rubbish, hunt, kill, trap or poison any
wildlife, make campfires, destroy, cut down trees, shrubs, grasses and flowers, take, move
or transport any living species and archaeological material(s), take, transport or sell natural
spring freshwater, introduce alien plant(s) and animal species and that violation of the
federal and/or local environmental laws of the UAE prevailing inside the area(s) of which

the Activities is taking place and can result in severe penalties including fines,
imprisonment, and confiscation of my and/or my minor child(ren)’s or ward(s)’s property.
3) ASSUMPTION OF RISK. I, on my own behalf and/or on behalf of my minor child(ren) or
ward(s), hereby expressly and specifically assume the responsibility of the risk of injury of
harm from participating in the Activities. I understand and acknowledge that participating
as a Volunteer in the Activities is governed by rules and regulations protecting the
environment and such Activities may include work that is hazardous, and that Volunteers
can suffer property loss or damage, serious injury, or death. I understand and acknowledge
that I am responsible for following EN-WWF’s rules and the instructions of EN-WWF’s staff.
If the Volunteer is a minor, I certify that I have described these risks to the fullest extent to
the minor and that he/she understands these risks and he/she wishes to participate
nonetheless.
4) RELEASE AND WAIVER. I, on my own behalf and/or on behalf of my minor child(ren) or
ward(s), release for forever discharge and hold harmless EN-WWF, its directors, its officers,
agents, employees, representatives, sponsors, successors and assignees (“EN-WWF
Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature, either
in law or equity, which arise or may hereafter arise from participating in the Activities. I
understand that by signing this release, I waive my right, and/or that of my minor
child(ren) or ward(s), to bring a court or any other actions to recover compensation or
obtain any other remedy for any injury to myself, my minor children or ward(s), or my
property or my death or that of my minor child(ren) or ward(s), however caused, arising
out of my and/or my minor child(ren)’s or ward(s)’s participation in the Activities. This
release discharges EN-WWF Parties from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, executors,
personal representatives and next of kin, may have against EN-WWF with respect to any
temporary or permanent psychological or bodily injury, illness, death or property damage
that may result from my and/or my minor child(ren)’s or ward(s)’s activities and/or
participation in the Activities with EN-WWF, whether caused by the negligence, action or
inaction of EN-WWF Parties or otherwise. It is my intention that my heirs, executors,
personal representatives and next of kin shall have no right of action whatsoever to bring a
court or any other actions, whether a claim, demand of whatever kind of nature, either in
law or equity, to recover compensation or obtain any other remedy, which arise or may
hereafter arise from my and/or my minor child(ren)’s or ward(s)’s participation in the
Activities. I further understand that EN-WWF does not assume any responsibility for or
obligation to provide financial assistance or any other assistance including but not limited
to any medical, health or disability insurance in the event of injury or illness.
5) MEDICAL TREATMENT. I, on my own behalf and/or on behalf of my minor child(ren) or
ward(s), do hereby release and forever discharge EN-WWF from any claim whatsoever
which arises or may hereafter arise on account of any first aid, treatment or service
rendered in connection with the adult and/or minor Volunteer’s participation in the
Activities with EN-WWF.
6) INSURANCE. I certify that I, on behalf of myself and/or my minor child(ren) or ward(s),
have adequate insurance to cover any injury, including but not limited to any temporary
or permanent psychological or bodily injury, illness, or damage I and/or my minor
child(ren) or ward(s) may suffer or cause to others while participating in the Activities and
I, on behalf of myself and/or my minor child(ren) or ward(s), agree to bear the costs of
such injury, illness or damage. I understand and acknowledge that, except as otherwise
agreed to by EN-WWF in writing, EN-WWF does not carry or maintain health, medical or
disability insurance coverage for any adult and/or minor Volunteer and that each adult
and/or minor Volunteer is expected and encouraged to obtain his/her own medical or
health insurance coverage.
7) HEALTH REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES. I, on behalf of myself and/or my minor
child(ren) or ward(s), represent and warrant that I am not currently experiencing
symptoms of a Coronavirus or other communicable disease, including, but not limited to
COVID-19, that I, on behalf of myself or my minor child(ren) or ward(s), am not suspected
of having COVID-19 or any other communicable disease, and that I have not been
recently diagnosed, between the period of one week , with COVID-19 or any other
communicable disease, and that to my knowledge I, on behalf of myself and/or my minor
child(ren) or ward(s), am not likely to infect anyone by my and/or my minor child(ren)’s
or ward(s)’s participation in the Activities. I, on behalf of myself and/or my minor
child(ren) or ward(s), further represent and warrant that I am physically fit, do not suffer
from any serious or chronic illness(es) or any physical or mental disability whether
temporary or permanent, and am able to participate in the Activities.
8) PHOTOGRAPHIC RELEASE. I, as an adult Volunteer and/or as the Parent of a minor
Volunteer, hereby grant and convey unto EN-WWF all rights, title and interest in any and
all photographic image(s) or video(s) and/or audio recording(s) made by EN-WWF, during
my and/or my minor child(ren)’s or ward(s)’s participation in the Activities with EN-WWF,
including, but not limited to, any royalties, proceeds, or other benefits derived from such
photographs and/or recordings.
9) GOVERNING LAW. This Release shall be governed by and construed in all respects in
accordance with the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable
local laws in which the Activities are being held.
I have carefully read this Release in its entirety, fully understand its contents, and agree to the terms
and conditions of this Release on behalf of myself and/or my minor child(ren) or ward(s), my heirs,
my executors, my personal representatives and my next of kin. Further, I acknowledge and
understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing this Release. I, on behalf of myself
and/or my minor child(ren) or ward(s), sign this Release of my own free will without any inducement
and agree to be bound by it, from the date of my signature, forever into the future.

KAYAK/SUP ACTIVITIES LIABILITY RELEASE
NOTICE: Husaak Adventures is the trading name of Sea Hawk Marine Sports and Adventures LLC under the
trade license CN-1194170. This release form is a contract with legal consequence and applies to all
Husaak Adventures participants.
Read it carefully before signing.
I fully realize the dangers of participating in water sports / activities and fully assume the risk associated with such
except as set out below:
Participation including, by way of examples, and not limitation, the following: the dangers of collision with
paddlers, boats, ships, docks, and fixed or moving objects, the dangers arising from surface hazards, equipment
failure, inadequate safety equipment, and weather and sea conditions; and the possibility of serious physical and
or mental trauma or injury, including death, associated with athletic paddling trips and events.
I hereby waive, release and discharge for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives,
assigns and successors in interest (hereinafter collectively “Successors”) any and all rights and claims which I have
or which may hereafter accrue to me against Husaak Adventures, including travel to or from any such location
but excluding, in all cases, all rights and claims in respect of personal injury, illness or death causes by the
negligence of Husaak Adventures or it’s employees, agents or representatives.
I agree that I have a responsibility to prepare adequately for participation in Husaak Adventures activities. I
understand and agree that situations may arise during kayaking and other Husaak Adventures events which may
be beyond the control of Husaak Adventures and the Husaak Adventures members responsible for organizing
such events; I must not continually paddle so as not to endanger neither myself nor others.
I confirm that I am not under the influence of alcohol, and didn't take any drugs or other substances that will
affect me while I am doing this activity. Any problem caused due to these circumstances will be under my
responsibility. Husaak Adventures have the full control to stop customers who are found unfit.
I accept that Husaak Adventures does not have any responsibility whatsoever for loss or damage to my personal
belongings including (without limitation) phones, keys, wallets (and its contents), glasses and clothing. I am aware
that any water-resistant containers or bags supplied by Husaak Adventures are not guaranteed to be waterproof
and I accept that I am taking my personal property on to the water at my own risk.
I agree for myself and successors, that the above reorientations are contractually binding, and are not mere
recitals and that should I or my successors assert my claim in contravention of this agreement, I or my successors
shall be liable for the expenses (including legal fees) incurred by the other party or parties in defending, unless
the other party or parties are finally adjudged liable on such claim for negligence. This agreement may not be
modified orally, and a waiver of any provision shall not be construed as a modification of any other provision
herein or as consent to any other provision or as consent to any subsequent waiver or modification.
As a result of any damages or loss of Husaak Adventures equipment including but not limited to Kayak/Kayak
Paddles/Kayak Seat/SUP/SUP Fins/SUP Ankle Leash/SUP Paddles during the period of my use, I agree to incur the
full retail price of the equipment as Damage Fee.
MEDIA RELEASE: I hereby grant Husaak Adventures and its representatives permission to use and/or publish
photographs or videos of the listed participants in print and/or electronically. I understand that the images or
videos may be used in print publications, online publications, presentations, websites, and social media.

By signing this document, I agree to adhere to the terms set forth by Emirates Nature WWF and Husaak
Adventures. In addition, I agree to obey the Code of Conduct that has been implemented by the Environment
Agency Abu Dhabi, such as:

• No feeding • No collecting • No hunting • No littering
