IndustrialIT 800xA Applications for Minerals – Configuration
(with CDE) and Operation

Course goal Topics


The goal of this course is to learn the operation and  System 800xA architecture
configuration of the IndustrialIT Extended Automation System
800xA with AC 800M controllers and the Control Builder M  Plant Explorer, engineering workplace and Control
tool utilizing the Minerals Library. Builder M

Upon completion of this course the participants should be
 Overview of standard libraries
able to:
 Explain the System 800xA architecture and the function  Variables and data types
of the different components  Using Control Diagram Editor (CDE) for programming
 Monitor and control the minerals process objects applications with functions, function blocks and control
modules
 Navigate in the system and create new objects and
aspects using Plant Explorer  Structured text (ST) programming
 Create a new control project using Plant Explorer and  Monitoring and testing applications
Control Builder M (CBM)  Minerals Library and minerals applications
 Configure the AC 800M hardware and corresponding I/Os  Task assignment and memory
 Use the standard libraries and the Minerals Library as  OPC communication
