SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY POBLACION, BURGOS,
PANGASINAN HELD AT THE MULTI-PURPOSE HALL ON JULY 20, 2024 AT 1:00 PM

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE UTILIZATION OF SK FUND AMOUNTING TO
SEVENTEEN THOUSAND PESOS (PHP 17,000.00) TO CONDUCT LINGGO NG
KABATAAN ACTIVITIES AT BARANGAY POBLACION, BURGOS, PANGASINAN.
WHEREAS Republic Act No. 10742 or otherwise known as “Sangguniang
Kabataan Reform Act of 2015”, An act establishing reforms in the
Sangguniang Kabataan creating enabling mechanisms for meaningful youth
participation in nation-building, and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, R.A. 10742, Chapter IV, Section 30, states that Observance of
Linggo ng Kabataan. – (a) every barangay, municipality, city and province
shall conduct an annual activity to be known as the Linggo ng Kabataan.
Thus, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Poblacion, Burgos,
Pangasinan will celebrate its Linggo ng Kabataan on August 31 to September
1, 2024, at Brgy. Poblacion, Burgos, Pangasinan with the participation of SK
Officials and KK members. WHEREAS, upon the motion of SK Member Myrjoy

Catanaoan and duly seconded by SK Member Sheina Atiga, to conduct the
Linggo ng Kabataan activities, the Sangguniang Kabataan of
Barangay Poblacion will utilize the SK Fund using the budget intended
stipulated in their Annual Barangay Youth Investment Plan (ABYIP).
WHEREAS, the Linggo ng Kabataan Celebration aims to promote Cultural
Appreciation and Identity, facilitate Social Cohesion and Unity, encourage
Civic Responsibility and Active Citizenship, enhance Physical Well-being and
Sportsmanship, and empower Youth Through Participation with activities
such as fun run and Zumba, basketball tournaments, volleyball matches,
eSports, or traditional Filipino games, quiz bees, writing contests, and poster-
making contests.
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of SK Member Zhyiera De Belen and duly
seconded by SK Member Paul Joseph Bustria:
BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to approve the utilization of SK
fund amounting to Seventeen Thousand Pesos (Php 17,000.00) to conduct
Linggo ng Kabataan activities at Barangay Poblacion, Burgos, Pangasinan.
RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be furnished to
the Office of the Sangguniang Barangay, Office of the Municipal Local
Government Operations Officer, Office of the Municipal Youth Development,
and other concerned offices, for their information and references.
