So what jobs do we need to make a film?

Screenwriter – the job is to write the story for a movie, make a book into a film.
Costume designer – the job is to create a costume that perfectly shows a character’s personality. We see
the costume of a character – we find out more about them.
Production designer – the job is to design the sets that gives audiences information about the time
period, the location, what the characters are doing and how they are feeling within the setting.
Cameraman - a person who operates a camera when films are being made. The job is to make camera
angles to help tell the story on the screen, to understand it better.
Make-up artist – The job is to read the script, finding descriptions of characters, and design film makeup
(it includes everything on the face – scars, eye colour, freckles etc.). Then they put make-up on people.
Graphic designer – the job is to create written and printed elements that we see on screen, such as
newspapers, posters, logos, money and product packing.
