Banaji Indian Students Scholarship 2023


This scholarship is provided for privately financed international student who is regular
undergraduate or graduate student with Indian nationality. Please contact the Student
Section of your faculty if you want to apply. Read the following guidelines thoroughly to
prepare all documents required.

By providing scholarship to outstanding international student from India, not only


alleviate the financial troubles but also improve effect of learning. In addition, the purpose
of this scholarship is to implement talent training on contribution to mutual understanding
and friendship between Japan and India.

1. Eligibility
a) privately financed international student, who is regular undergraduate or graduate
student (as of April, 2023)
b) obtain visa status “student”
c) Indian nationality
d) willing to contribute to exchange promotion and goodwill between Japan and India
in future
e) not receiving any other JEES(Japan Educational Exchanges and Services)
scholarships during the period covered by this one
For those who are receiving any other organization’s scholarship, the total annual
amount must be under 600,000(around 50,000 yen per month)
(loan scholarship and tuition exemption excluded )
f) has a clear purpose or plan for studying and can expect its effects
g) financial aid is necessary
h) physically and mentally healthy, demonstrate personal integrity, excellent academic
performance

1 (approximately 5 through Japan)

100,000yen / month

4. Period
from April 2023 to completion of the course enrolled

5. Documents to be submitted
a) Application form (attachment Form 1)
※No handwriting, typing only.
※Japanese translation has to be attached if it’s written in English
b) Photograph (taken within the past 6 months, under 50KB)
c) Recommendation letter from assigned professor (attachment Form 2)
※No handwriting, typing only.
※Japanese translation has to be attached if it’s written in English
d) Certificate relating to Japanese language proficiency (photocopy), if any
e) Academic transcript from Live Campus (the latest one from your Students Section)
f) Application form ver.4 Japanese version (Kyutech selection use)

6. Result announcement
Notify the university by the end of March 2023 after documents screening
