Last month I went to Canada to stay with my aunt, but something funny happened the day I left.
My flight was at six in the evening so I didn’t get up early. After breakfast, I walked into town. I
bought some sun cream from the chemist and then I got some Canadian dollars from the bank.
Then I went home to pack my bag.
Nina, my cat, sat on my bed and watched as I put all my things in my bag. Then I went
downstairs and had lunch with my parents. I wanted to go to my friend’s house to say goodbye,
but there wasn’t time so I talked to her on the phone. Then it was time to leave.
My parents drove me to the airport. I said goodbye to them and went to the check-in desk. The
woman at check-in weighed my bag and asked me some questions. She wanted to know who
packed the bag and if there were any sharp objects in it. Then suddenly the bag moved! When I
opened it, Nina jumped out. I thought it was funny, but the woman was angry!
