“The Word of God never fails”

Introduction:

I’m so glad to be here with you this evening. I don’t consider this teaching as just giving homework; I
believe this will be an actual teaching that will bless you! Amen

Colossians 1:5b-6
“the word of the truth of the gospel, which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is
6

bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in
truth;

 As we see in this verse, The Word of God, The Gospel is meant to produce fruit in our lives.
 Transformation.
 Blessing
 Healing
 Deliverance
 Victory
 Etc..

But... there are still many people who do not experience real fruit from The Word of God in their
lives. Why is it like that? Does it mean that the Word of God fails?

 The Word of God never fails! The Word of God has integrity. However, people fail due to lack of
knowledge.

God has established a specific principle by which His Word operates in our lives. If we understand
this principle and align ourselves with it, we will experience the fruitful impact of God’s Word in our
lives.

Today I want to share with you about this awesome principle, are you ready?

1. Seed, time, and harvest.

God has established the law of reproduction. We can see the concept here in
Genesis 1:11 “Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that
yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so.”

Everything in this world is reproducing according to this law of reproduction. It works with herbs,
fruits, animals, and even people.

 If there is no seed, then there will be no fruit.

 The seed has the potential to reproduce, but it has to be placed in the right environment.
Otherwise it just remains by itself.

As it is in the natural, it is also in the spiritual.

Mark 4 introduces us to three parables taught by Jesus that convey the same concept of sowing and
reaping. Jesus wasn't teaching about agriculture; rather, He was revealing a powerful principle: the
principle of sowing and reaping.

 The Word of God is The Seed.

 Our Heart is the soil, the right environment.

Same way as it is with the natural, if the seed is not planted in the soil, then that seed will not
produce any fruit. If the Word of God is not planted in our hearts, there is no way that we can see
fruit in our lives.
The door from spiritual to natural is through seed
2. How to sow the seed?

We will learn how to sow the seed in our hearts through the story of Mary and Angel.

- Angel appeared to Mary to speak the Word of God to her. (Which is the seed)
- How did she respond?

Luke 1:38 “Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your
word.”

She received it with faith. She responded with faith. And that was exactly what determined whether
the seed would be planted in her or not.

 What is your response when you hear The Word? Do you mix The Word of God with faith?

Hebrews 4:2 “For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they
heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it”

Many people do not experience fruit in their lives because they don’t plant the seed of His Word in
their hearts. They don’t receive it with faith.
Everything is in the seed ! Victory etc
…. When the seed is planted in the soil. What do we need to do? Water it!

3. How to water the seed?

In the natural world, it takes our e ort to take care of our plants. We need to purposefully water it,
clean it and just simply be responsible for it!

The spiritual seed that we have sown in our hearts is the same. We need to take care of it by
watering it! How do we do it?

Psalm 1:2-3, Joshua 1:8

 Meditation.

Imagination and declaration.

Brothers and sisters, The Word of God never fails! We need to take the Word of God and plant it in
our hearts!
John 15:7-8 ” If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall
be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My
disciples.

Summarize:

 God has established the principle by which His Word operates, and that is the principle of
sowing and reaping!
 Sow the Word of God by receiving it with Faith!
 Water the Word of God through meditation!
 Enjoy the Fruit of The Word of God

Call to Action:

I want right now, that you take One promise from The Word of God – Receive it by faith,
imagine it and speak it out. Thank God for the fruit that will take place in your life!
