a)   Define tangible heritage with an example.
b)   What is the role of UNESCO in heritage management?
c)   Define intangible heritage with an example?
d)   What is applied archaeology?
e)   Write any two key roles that ICOMOS plays in the management of cultural heritage.
f)   Give any two examples of archaeological preservation.
2. With an example, discuss the importance of revival, sustainable development, and
   preservation of intangible heritage.

3. Define cultural and natural heritage with suitable examples.

4. “There exists a mutual feedback between cultural systems and the environment, with
   a shift in one often leading to a change in the other” (Resurgence and Ecologist 2008).
   Explain the above statement with the help of an example.

5. The relationship between culture, heritage, the environment and tourism are very
   important, however heritage tourism has contributed towards sustainable development
   but at the same time it has proven to be a threat in the preservation and conservation
   of the heritage. Explain.
