Respected Sir,

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Kamal Sahu, and I am from Kanpur, Uttar
Pradesh. I recently joined ICAR-CIRDOT as a Young Professional - I in the QEID division
under the guidance of Dr. P. Jagajanantha on March 18, 2025. I completed my B.Tech
(Hons.) in Textile Chemistry in 2023 and am currently pursuing my Master's in Design from
IIT Kanpur.

I am writing to humbly request accommodation in the ICAR-CIRDOT guest house, either at


Matunga or Ghatkopar, Mumbai. As I am the sole earning member of my family, my
financial situation is quite challenging. My father left home in June 2016 due to family
issues, and since then, I have been supporting my mother and younger sister. Our family's
annual income is less than ₹1 lakh, and with my current consolidated salary of ₹30,000 per
month, managing expenses while also saving for my family’s needs is quite difficult.

If I could be provided with a room, or even a shared accommodation for some time, it
would significantly reduce my financial burden and allow me to support my family more
effectively. Additionally, staying in the guest house would save me commuting time and
expenses, enabling me to focus better on my responsibilities at ICAR-CIRDOT.

I sincerely appreciate your time and consideration of my request. I would be grateful for
any assistance you can provide and look forward to your kind response.
