Importance of Summer Vacation Break & Tasks for Students


Summer break for students can be a blessing. Summer tasks for students during long vacations
serve several important purposes, including preventing knowledge loss, allowing for skill
development and providing opportunities for relaxation and personal growth.

They ensure students to explore their interests and enjoy a break from formal schooling.

Why summer break and summer tasks are beneficial:

1. Rest and Recovery: Summer breaks are crucial for students to recover from the stress
of exams and the demands of the school year.
2. Mental Well-being: A break from structured learning can help students manage stress
and improve their mental health.
3. Relaxation and Leisure: Summer break provides a welcome respite from the academic

As a parent, it is important to recognize the significance of summer vacation and play a role in
making it an enjoyable & productive time for your child to earn the rewards of Deen-o-Dunyia.

personal development.
1. Summer vacations provide an opportunity for students to take rest as it is essential for

Instructions for Teachers regarding SVT


Summer vacation is an opportunity for students to take rest and enjoy but as a teacher, it is our
foremost duty to motivate our students to use their time wisely. Make them realize that hard
work always pays off. Share the following instructions with your students.

Instructions:

 Do all the given summer task on a separate notebook which will be submitted to school
after summer vacations.
 Marks of summer vacation Task will be included in term Assessment, so you must
complete the given task in time.
 Prepare the entire task for upcoming Term Exam and Board Exam.

Instructions for Parents regarding SVT


Respected parents: Asslam-o-Alaikum
It is to inform you that summer vacation will be started from ________ June 2025 to _______
August, 2025.
The school will re-open on ___________________ for all the classes and all the sections.
For your convenience, the SVT can be headed from school office; it can also be downloaded
from the school’s website, Facebook page and Whats app group.

Guidelines for the respected parents:


1. Kindly make a timetable for your child and monitor that he/she is engaged in healthy
activities.
2. Please keep a check on your child to ensure that he/she has learnt the oral work thoroughly
and completed the written assignments neatly.
3. The child will be assessed for the Handwriting, presentation, neatness and completion of all
the given questions.
4. The cover page must include details like student’s name, class and section, subject and
name of the teacher it is to be submitted to.
5. SVT must be submitted to the admin office till 25th of August. Late work will not be
accepted.
6. Parents are requested to arrange some creative Co-curricular activities for their children
like given below
1. Attending five times prayers
2. Reciting Holy Quran with translation
3. Reading text books and fun books
4. Watching educational videos
5. Calligraphy practice
6. Physical exercise, Playing different games
7. Help in Home cleaning
8. Gardening if space is available
9. Helping other family members
10. Participate in Social life activities

Your personal interest and co-operation regarding completion of your child’s SVT will provide
an opportunity to learn and grow fast.

Instructions for Students regarding SVT


Dear students, it is your time to bloom and groom, but do remember that these days are very
precious for your Academic growth too, so follow the following instructions.

1. Do make your daily time table.


2. Recite the Holy Quran daily & offer prayers five times a day.
3. Pay special attention towards your health, have good diet and sound sleep.
4. Don’t play in the sunshine or on hot places.
5. Be a helping hand to your parents and learn the skill of shared responsibility.
6. Try to spend at least Two hour in studies daily.
7. All the given SVT must be done in separate register or notebook.
8. Make separate sections for each subject and label the subject name and each section
properly.
9. Do all the tasks with date & day labeled on each page.
10. Do all work under the guidance of your Parents/ Guardians or Tutor.
11. Use markers for headings and English/ Urdu pen for writing the text.
12. Use low cost/ no cost Junk material for each activity given in the SVT.
13. Try to do your written work regularly to enhance your Writing Power.
14. Neatness and presentation are common parameters for most of the activities assigned.
Maintain the quality of work done. Grammatical accuracy also carries weightage.
15. SVT carries 100 marks which will be added in Term Assessment exam and it will also be
counted in class position, so do your work neatly and carefully.
16. Good hand writing is very important as marks will be deducted if SVT is incomplete, untidy
or done by someone else.
17. Use good quality pencil, eraser, and pen to maintain the tidiness in the notebooks.
18. Visit "www.Sabaq.pk" for ready video lectures on Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and
Maths.

Marks will be deducted


Marks will range from (0-10) for each subject, with following deduction parameters.
1. Poor hand writing: -2 marks on each subject
2. Missing 1 page / not done: -1 mark on each page
3. 1 to 4 mistakes in 1 page: -1/2 on each page
4. Five or more mistakes in 1 page: -1 on each page
5. Incorrect work: -1 on each page
6. Incomplete work/ Half of the task done: -5 each subject
7. Done by siblings (complete): -10 each subject
8. No work done at all -10 marks
