iPhone
The original iPhone was announced on Jan. 9,
2007, at the Macworld convention by Apple
co-founder Steve Jobs. While it was not
considered the first smartphone, the iPhone has
helped drive the global shift to mobile computing
among both consumers and businesses. Its
primary rival has been Google Android-based
devices from companies such as Samsung, also
introduced in 2007.
The iPhone is a smartphone made by Apple that
combines a computer, iPod, digital camera and
cellular phone into one device with a touchscreen
interface. The iPhone runs the iOS operating
system, and in 2021 when the iPhone 13 was
introduced, it offered up to 1 TB of storage and a
12-megapixel camera.
iWatch
Apple Watch is a line of smartwatches produced
by Apple Inc. It incorporates fitness tracking,
health-oriented capabilities, and wireless
telecommunication, and integrates with iOS and
other Apple products and services. The Apple Watch
was released in April 2015, and quickly became the
best-selling wearable device.
It’s the ultimate device for a healthy life. Apple Watch
can do what your other devices can’t because it’s
on your wrist. When you wear it, you get a fitness
partner that measures all the ways you move,
meaningful health insights and a connection to the
people and things you care about most.
Airpods
AirPods are wireless Bluetooth earbuds
designed by Apple Inc. In addition to
playing audio, the AirPods contain a
microphone that filters out background
noise as well as built-in accelerometers
and optical sensors capable of
detecting taps and pinches (e.g.
double-tap or pinch to pause audio)
and placement within the ear, which
enables automatic pausing of audio
when they are taken out.

Apple today unveiled Apple Vision Pro, a
Vision Pro revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly
blends digital content with the physical world, while
allowing users to stay present and connected to
others. Vision Pro creates an infinite canvas for apps
that scales beyond the boundaries of a traditional
display and introduces a fully three-dimensional
user interface controlled by the most natural and
intuitive inputs possible — a user’s eyes, hands, and
voice. Featuring visionOS, the world’s first spatial
operating system, Vision Pro lets users interact with
digital content in a way that feels like it is physically
present in their space.
The breakthrough design of Vision Pro features an
ultra high resolution display system that packs 23
million pixels across two displays, and custom Ap-
ple silicon in a unique dual-chip design to ensure
every experience feels like it’s taking place in front
of the user’s eyes in real time.

Competitors
The Bottom Line. Apple is so big that it can live
comfortably without Samsung. Similarly, Samsung
doesn’t need to be an Apple vendor to flourish. As
competitors in the marketplace, they have put
life-changing electronics in the hands of hundreds
of millions, Samsung is ruling the Android market.
Apple’s success lies in a strategic vision that
transcended simple desktop computing to include
mobile devices and wearables. Both performance
and design are key drivers of the Apple brand and
its ongoing success.
Not against others,
but against itself.
Apple and Microsoft are both great companies to
own. However, just like how you may choose a Mac
over a PC (or vice versa), which is a ‘better’ company
boils down to your personal preference. Apple is
a leader in consumer tech and hardware, while
Microsoft is a frontrunner in software and cloud.
Why do professionals use Apple?
Macs (and Apple devices in general) are known for
being high-performance devices with a strong build
quality. They last a long time, and rarely run into
faults or performance issues.
Creative Strategy The act of thinking
differently
Represents; smart, innovative, clever, and creative.
Then they have lived up to the claim of ‘thinking
differently’ by actually ‘acting differently’ by going
against the norm – always asking the question;
“what’s different about this?”.
Apple’s brand strategy and marketing strategy have
always made it a point to promote itself as a luxury
brand while focusing on differentiating itself from its
competitors. Apple makes sure that it puts forth the
following brand image – Apple competes against
itself and not against others.
This is probably where they shout “think different”
the loudest. From colorful iMac’s to iPods, iPhones,
and iPads, no other company has changed the way
products look, feel, work more than Apple. They are
the complete opposite of a me-too company, not
satisfied with small improvements, only leaps and
bounds will do.
A lot of companies invest heavily in product design,
trying to create an object of ‘desire’ only to keep
the same old interface. Apple on the other hand
can radically change the interface but keep the
product’s physical design unchanged, the iPhone
4s – introducing Siri, being an example.
Focus on value: Apple focuses on their Unique Value
Proposition (UVP). Apple is not afraid to price its
products based on their value. They market the UVP
of their products, how they improve the aspects of
their customers’ lives and quote the price for it.
Steve Jobs and his team excelled at manufacturing
and marketing consumer products that consumers
love. Apple’s marketing is so effective, in fact, that it
has become a benchmark for other companies who
want to achieve the same global popularity, revenue
growth and staying power.
Rebranding
Facelift
To bring a new look and feel to the existing line. The
usual goal of rebranding is to influence customers’
perceptions of products and services. By
revitalizing the brand and making it seem more
modern and relevant to the customer’s needs.
All this is done while maintaining Apple’s authentic
look, feel and design dynamics.
In addition, we will explore options for redesigning
the logo.
Epilogue
High degree of
differentiation
The main conclusion that can be drawn is we found
to be the most interesting about Apple is how they
are very innovative and early adapters.
Apple Company has achieved a rare fit in the
technology arena; it has been flexible in its
management procedure to a level of allowing
creativity and innovation. This has resulted in the
development of a culture that tends to distance
itself from authoritarian kind of leadership.
Even among top brands, Apple stands out for
its high degree of differentiation and control. By
manufacturing its flagship A15 and M1 processing
units in-house, Apple gained even more pricing
power and logistical flexibility in the market as
others struggled with chip shortages and related
supply chain issues.
