© Dr Sunny Thukral from PG Department of Computer
Science & IT has got the patent for a simple but
innovative software that can retrieve the symptoms of
wheat allergy patients without going through expensive
and painful testing procedures. Dr Sunny's patent has
been registered with Indian Patent Advanced Search
System and is quite helpful for celiac patients. Celiac
disease is a serious autoimmune disease that occurs in
genetically predisposed people where the ingestion of
gluten damages the smallintestine.
@ DrVibha Chopra, Assistant Professor, PG. Department of
Physics and Electronics has been granted patent by the
Australian Government for her invention “RGB emission
and solar energy enhancement in Eu3+ and Tb3+ co-
activated K2NaAIF6 down conversion phosphors by
energy transmission mechanism” and another by
Republic of South Africa for invention of Low Cost UV
based Air Purifier. In addition, Dr. Vibha Chopra has also
published 4 patents for following inventions: (i) A device
for mobile phone sanitization, (ji) A sanitization device
based on UV radiations, (ii) An ultra-violet sanitizer for
PPE kits, Police uniform and clothes, and (iv) Automatic,
microcontroller based ice defrosting instrument.
© Prof. Shivani Sanan, Assistant Professor, P.G. Department
of Mathematics has received patent by Govt. of India for
her work on “Hybrid genetic sine-cosine optimization
