1. Danger: Some of the compounds approved for use in the analyzer are toxic even at low
concentrations. Take appropriate precautions when handling them.

2. Caution: If the analyzer has not been flushed with DI water for 45 minutes, some acid and persulfate
will still be in the intake tubes and the peristaltic tubes. The acid and persulfate may spray out when the
tubes are removed for pump and tube servicing. Use extreme caution!

cantidades de ácido o de persulfato permanecerán en los tubos de alimentación y los

4. Caution: The transformer voltage selector and the power supply voltage selector settings must
agree when the analyzer is powered on. Incorrect settings will damage your analyzer and void the

5. Danger: Depending on the sample composition, waste gases may be hazardous and should be
vented safely to the atmosphere.

7. Caution: Always pour the concentrated acid into the water; never pour water into the acid. Take the
same precautions you would normally take when handling any corrosive material.
