3. SPIRITUAL GROWTH

As it is the objective of every other department, we were pleased to have had a huge harvest in to
the growth of the church. We managed to have a baptism of 178 members joining the sisterhood of
churches of the South West Nyanza Field as regular members of the church. These new members
have been accepted into their various churches as members of regular standings. This harvest was
made possible by God Himself as He used Pr. Dickens Openda, who was the Chief Guest of the
camporee. Your prayer as a team during the camporee did wonders.

4. HEALTH AND SANITATION

All the delegates received the attention of our qualified medical personnel who were dedicated to
offering the best medical support to all campers, notwithstanding, the community also benefited
from the medical tent without discrimination.

The sanitation department ensured all our latrines’ hygiene were highly maintained. We appreciate
the team for the good work done. Our stations enjoyed your services abundantly.

place on 14th December 2025. He was in the company of Hon. David Ochola Migori County Public
Service Board Chairperson and Mr Tom Ngeri SWNF Youth Advisor.

The guests donated Kshs. 100,000.00 to help manage the camporee activities.

On Wednesday 18th September, 2025, Madam Rose Odhiambo, CEC Education, Migori County also

On the closing Sabbath, Hon Mark Ogolla Nyamita MP Uriri Constituency graced the closing
ceremony at Ongoro Matoso. We appreciate their coming and recognize their sacrifice in time and
resources for coming.
8. CHALLENGES DURING THE CAMPOREE

Despite the success during the camporee, the event experienced some challenges that include:

 Vandalization of the worship arena. Despite the event running smoothly, the arena
materials that were to be used for evangelism purposes after the camporee, the
materials were brought down and items looted to unknown destination by the
community and some ill-motivated master guide.
 Late registration hindered the Campers initial provisions to delay the whole
process.
 Campers leaving before Sabbath. Most directors did an arrangement with the
Buses for a Sabbath pickup.
 High affinity for handout from youth leaders and unrealistic financial expectations
among leader
9. RECOMMENDATIONS.
 On Arena vandalization. The department proposes that the persons who were
linked with the dirty looting be brought to book for sanity. If leaders were
involved, let them be subjected to clearly outlined disciplinary actions documented
in the church policy.
 On Camporee late registrations. The department proposes that the pathfinders and
their directors to begin the registration as early as March and the late registration
be in October of the Camporee year. This will necessitate the required Provisions
to be tendered and delivered prior to the activity.
 The clubs leaving before the closure of the Activity. The club directors should be
advised to obtain an express permission from the Event Convener if need there be.
Otherwise all campers are to depart on a Sunday morning after the camporee is
done.

In conclusion, The SWNF Pathfinder Camporee was a success as all the objectives meant for the
Pathfinders were met. All their provisions were delivered to them, they attended classes, they took
part in activities, they were served with the spiritual nourishments abundantly.

GOD’S WILL WAS DONE IN 2024
