I chose this topic, ' Changed lives `` is to encourage
people that there is still hope in life. You may be going
through tough times now, but there are others who had
suffered more than you. This topic is also to aware
people that there is this issue in Singapore. Be careful of
what you are doing and what you plan to do. During this
project, i have been more exposed to editorial layouts and
photography. It is not easy to get a good job done, you
have to put in a lot of effort and hard work.

Design and layout the photographs in a design
that befits the article.
For this photo-essay project, i have chosen
the topic Changed lives. It is to encourage
readers to treasure lives. Some people out
there could not take the difficulties life has
and chose to end their lives. But have they
ever thought that they are not the only one
who are going through tough times?
Some people out there are facing the same
problems as well or maybe problems more
severe than ours. This photo-essay will bring
you through lives of these people and how
they manage to conqour their problems.

Studio Project 3
Evolve a strategy which culminates
in a physical item or items which
will announce your arrival.
The tagline for the tiem is Let the world,
shine with COLOURS. In this case, colours
means designs. It means that i can let the
world become a more beautiful place by
creating beautiful designs.
The unique part of this pop up card is that
it can open up fully to 360. When it opens
up fully, the flowers forms a shape of a
globe. Flowers are chosen because flowers
beautify a place and makes the place more
vibrant just like what a good design can do.
Typography
Design a piece of promotion for
one single typeface.
Rockwell was a typeface designed at
Monotype foundry in 1934. In the 19th
century, Vincent Figgins revealed the first
serif typeface to be labeled as slad, or
square. Rockwell typeface is unbracketed
and has double storey lower-casea.
Our planners style was inspired by the era
when rockwell typeface was created, the
retro era.

These divider patterns are designed

divider explains rockwell typeface.
For example, (The pattern on the
left) the squares are created using
rockwells full-stops.

People seek for True Love, and what is
true love? In this generation, media has
been twisting facts about love to make
their show more exciting. Therefore,
peoples perception and expectation of
love changes through reading novels
and watching dramas.
This personal booklet is created to
educate the public especially teenagers
about true love. The contents of this
book are taken from a verse in the bible.
(1 cor 13 : 4-8). Inside, there are
activities for the reader to do to make
learning more fun and memorable.

Reworth
The
shop
The Reworth Shop is created under Colex Holdings.
Colex has been participating actively in recycling events
but public participation has always been the missing
link. Recycling bins are placed everywhere but if the
people dont use them, there is no point. Therefore,
The Reworth Shop promotes recycling in a different and
more interesting approach.
Studio Project 5
The Reworth Shop will be open in Haji Lane. All the items
you can find in the shop are all made from recycled items
collected from the public and they are handmade by old folks
from old folks home and children from care centre. There
would be voluntary designers from design schools to teach
and assist them as they learn how to make these items.
Part of the sales from the shop would go back to the
respective homes so The Reworth Shop is created to
promote both recycling and social responsibility.

meaning "tail-less", from Greek (an-, without + oura, tail.) Frog, a small tailless amphibian. Anurans that live in or near freshwater are
called frogs. They vary in size from certain South American frogs less than one-half inch (13 mm) long to the 10-inch (25-cm) goliath
frog of Africa. Most frogs are green or greenish brown, with various markings.

During breeding season, frogs often return to the place where they hatched.
Usually, the males arrive rst. Each male croaks loudly to establish its own territory.
In many species, when the females arrive, the males pu up vocal sacs in their
throats and make a special mating call.

After a female chooses a male, he climbs onto her back and
holds onto her in the water. In almost all frogs, egg fertilization
happens outside the female's body instead of inside.
The female releases her eggs and the male releases his sperm
at the same time. All frogs' eggs require moisture to develop,
and most frogs abandon their eggs once they're fertilized.
But not all eggs incubate underwater or without parental care.
A few species carry their eggs in their vocal sacs or their
abdoment. Others lay eggs in dry areas and keep the
eggs moist with water or urine.
Why do frogs have buldging eyes?
They have good hearing and vision, although their ears and eyes are not situated quite like those of most other animals.
Most frogs have wide, bulging eyes that sit on the top of their skulls. This gives the frog a wide eld of view and helps compensate
for its inability to turn its head. Frogs' eyes also play an important role in eating. Frogs do not have the skull structure or the necessary
muscles to chew their food.

Instead, they have to swallow their prey in a couple of gulps. That means a frog can't use its tongue to push food down its throat and
toward its stomach. For this reason, when a frog swallows, its eyes sink down into its skull to help push the food along.
How long have they lived ?
Frogs lived on Earth for about 200 million years. They have
developed ways to live on every continent of the world
except Antarctica. Today, most frogs live in tropical regions.
Dierent kinds of frogs live in dierent habitats. Members
of the common group of frogs, known as true frogs, They
have long hind legs, smooth skin, and webbed hind feet.
Tiny tree frogs dwell in trees. Other frogs live on rocky clis,
or in swift mountain streams. Some frogs live in burrows.
Interesting fact
How can a frog tell you you're pregnant?
One of the reasons for importing African
clawed frogs was pregnancy tests. When
injected with urine from a pregnant woman,
a male African clawed frog will release
some of his sperm, and a female will
release some of her eggs. For about
twenty years, this was one of the fastest,
most accurate way to nd out if a
woman was pregnant.
What do frogs eat ?
Frogs in the wild will eat almost anything
they can catchbut only if its still alive.
Most frogs eat insects, snails, and tadpoles.
Large frogs will also eat small mammals,
birds, sh, and reptiles.
Some frogs can ick their tongues out
in a fraction of a second to grab their food.
Other frogs use their jaws to trap their prey.

Bumpy, drier skin.
Legs more for walking.
Do frogs
fall from the sky ?
Yes. The waterspout sucks up the lower-weight items
in the body of water as it moves across it. Frogs are
fairly lightweight. When a particularly powerful
storm hits land, the waterspout might go with it.
When the storm hits land, it loses some of its energy and
slows down. The pressure drops. Eventually, the clouds
release the water they're carrying. Sometimes, this cargo
includes frogs.The end result is frog rain. Sometimes it's a
few dozen frogs -- or a couple hundred or even thousands.
Poisonous & non- poisonous
Most frogs are harmless, but some frogs,
as well as some toads, have glands that ooze poison
onto their skin. Frogs emit only a mild poison. Some
of these frogs simply taste bad because of the poison
that no one wants to eat them. But others are deadly to
small predators.
Often, the brighter the
frog is, the more deadly
the poison it emits.
Mildly poisonous
frogs are usually
harmless to
humans, but
even mild
poisons can
irritate your
eyes.

This is a website design is a pitch i did during internship.
I have to design a website for ITE Centre for Music and
The Arts (CeMTA). It is an arts department dedicated to
promote arts and cultural enrichment in the institution.
Email Blast
This is a email blast i did for a beauty consultant, GLOW while
working as a freelancer for Immanuel Creative. Email Blast is an
electronic mailing, sent all at once to a large mailing list.
This is commonly used by marketers who want to send email
advertisements or promotions to their list of customers.
Sentosa BiMonthly
Fore! is an annual magazine for Sentosa Golf Club. This project was a
partnership work with a senior designer there and i was in-charge of the
changes from the client and i also did the checking of final artwork before
sending out to the printer.
CAG Guide
Changi Airport was one of the client in the company i was attached to. They
have been designing many items for the airport like transfer guides, maps and
other advertisements. This booket is Shop & Dine, July - September 2011
issue. This was a partner project with a senior designer there.
