the unknown paths, illuminate hidden opportunities, and inspire you to
reach heights you never thought was possible."
Presenting you Mentor - Me for clearing confusion and creating clarity. Well,
what is mentor me you might be thinking? It’s a platform which connects
parents, students, and career aspirants to a network of mentors. Our
mentors are experienced professionals who are passionate of helping
others reach their goals in their chosen field. So why would a mentee want
to join our app? That’s very simple. They would have access to relevant
experts from various fields and they would have also had access to
practical advice which is provided from mentors who have real life
experience in their chosen field. This is a huge gap in the current market
because all the career councillors only provide very general advice which is
not at all specific to the persons need or actual career goals. Now why
would a mentor want to join our app? Well, it would be a leveraging
experience and a fabulous way to give back to the society as a social
cause. It will also be an additional source of income especially for young
mentors who just want to kickstart their journey and can use this as a part
time job. As we started developing our platform, we have started with our
building society after reaching out to many mentors in various professions
such as aviation, music, medicals and many others. When you come on
our app, you will be met with our landing page which introduces our app.
First, we will focus on setting up our platform, then we will focus on getting
various mentors. When the mentors increase, the mentees will also
increase and during this period we will also be looking to fix all the bugs
and glitches on the platform, then we will develop our platforms
technological architecture and then we will spread awareness in different
schools, colleges and through digital marketing. We will have two key
sources of revenue, the platform fee and advertisement fee. The platform
fee is basically the money we make from each mentee and mentor session.
80% of the fee will go to the mentor and 20% will be kept in our app.
Advertisement revenue is basically advertisements coming up on our
platform. Since will have the information about so many mentees and
mentors, that we can show advertisements related to them. For the first
year we are expecting to make very limited money and get profit after the
third year. We will also have our breakeven by the third year. This is
basically a table of our revenue. Since a lot of our mentors are experienced
professionals, and this earning is inconsequential to them. They are doing
this for fulfilment and for a social cause. Therefore, they have an option to
donate a percentage or all the earnings to NGO’s that we have selected.
Most of these NGO’s are based on career and skill development.
