We are retained by one of the legendary Chain of Restaurants in
South India, for their top leadership position of Chief Operations
Officer. This iconic group has provided millions the rich heritage of
the vibrant flavors of Indian cuisine with a legacy that spans
decades. This hallowed vegetarian restaurant chain has been a
cornerstone of culinary excellence, known for innovation, hygiene,
and exceptional customer service. With over 2500 employees and
50 branches across India and international locations, is at the
forefront of delivering authentic flavors and memorable dining
experiences. This group is now poised for ambitious growth and
seek an exceptional Chief Operations Officer (COO) to lead our
nationwide expansion and operational excellence.
 Ideal Candidate Profile :
 Industry and Work Experience:
 Quick-Service Restaurant Industry: Over two decades of
   progressive experience, culminating in the role of General
   Manager and Circle Head, managing operations for the largest
   regional segment with 300-500 outlets and generating an annual
   business volume of 500-1000 Crores.
 Significant contributions to international food and beverage
   operations through multi-site management and school catering
   during tenure in North America, and South East Asia.
 Proven track record in scaling operations, including opening new
   outlets of a broad scale of 500-600 numbers and optimizing
   operational processes.
 Managerial and Leadership Competencies:
 Expertise in leading large-scale teams, managing over 6,000
  employees across multiple geographies, and mentoring mid-level
  and senior managers.
 Proficient in P&L management, achieving consistent profitability
  and cost optimization with an average EBITDA of 35%.
 Strategic planning and forecasting capabilities to address business
  challenges and harness growth opportunities.
 Experience in new outlet setups, including market surveys, site
  identification, commercial negotiations, and operational readiness.
 Recognized for innovative customer service strategies and
  corporate social responsibility initiatives, with multiple national
  accolades.
 Strong cross-functional leadership, managing operations, human
  resources, IT, corporate affairs, and training functions to drive
  organizational success
 Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership:
  o Provide overarching leadership to a workforce exceeding 2500
    employees, ensuring alignment with the organizations mission
    and vision.
  o Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement
    growth strategies for nationwide and international expansion.
2. Operational Excellence:
  o Oversee day-to-day operations, maintaining the highest quality
    and hygiene standards that our brand is celebrated for.
  o Enhance profitability through efficiency improvements, strategic
    planning, and financial management.
3. Expansion & Development:
  o Spearhead the launch of new outlets, including market research,
    site selection, lease negotiation, and operational setup.
  o Drive innovation while preserving the authenticity of our
    traditional vegetarian cuisine.
4. People Management:
  o Build a culture of excellence by training, mentoring, and
    motivating teams at all levels.
  o Foster accountability and continuous learning to enhance service
    delivery and operational success.
5. Business Performance:
  o Own the P&L for all operations, ensuring sustainable growth and
    profitability.
  o Implement cutting-edge strategies to optimize resource
    allocation and improve EBITDA performance.
 Required Skills and Experience
1. Experience:
  o A minimum of 15 years in leadership roles within the hospitality
    or food & beverage industry.
  o Proven track record in managing large-scale operations (e.g.,
    overseeing 100+ outlets or leading a workforce of 2000+).
  o Demonstrated expertise in launching new outlets, market
    expansion, and scaling operations nationally or internationally.
2. Competencies:
  o Strong financial acumen with experience in managing multi-
    million-dollar P&Ls.
  o Exceptional team management and leadership skills, with
    experience in training and development.
  o Customer-centric mindset, with a proven ability to enhance
    customer satisfaction and service delivery.
3. Other Attributes:
 o   Adept in negotiation, stakeholder management, and fostering
     long-term business relationships.
  o Familiarity with implementing quality control measures,
     operational SOPs, and innovative culinary trends.
