‫عصَموا مه نهي هد َما َءه ْم َوأ ْم َوالَه ْم إهلَّ بهح ه‬ َ َ َ َ
َ َ‫ ف هإذا فعَلوا ذ هلك‬،َ‫الزكَاة‬ َّ ‫ َويؤْ توا‬،َ‫صالَة‬ َّ ‫ َويقهيموا ال‬،‫ّللا‬‫َرسول َّ ه‬
."
Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬said: "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they
testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Messenger
(‫ )ﷺ‬, and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform that, then
they save their lives and property from me except for Islamic laws and then their reckoning
(accounts) will be done by Allah."

َّ َّ‫" َويَ ْخرج مه نَ النَّ هار َم ْن َقا َل لَ إهلَهَ إهل‬
Narrated Anas:
The Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "Whoever said "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in
his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a barley grain will be taken out of Hell. And whoever
said: "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the
weight of a wheat grain will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said, "None has the right to be
worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of an atom will be taken
out of Hell."

Ibn ‘Umar reported:
God's messenger as saying, “Islam is based on five things: the testimony that there is no god but
God and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, the observance of the prayer, the payment
of zakat, the Pilgrimage, and the fast during Ramadan.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

َ ‫ّللا‬َّ ‫صلَّى‬َ ‫ َفلَ َّما َولَّى َقا َل النَّ هب ُّي‬.‫ش ْيئ ًا َو َل أ َ ْنقص مه ْنه‬

Abu Huraira reported:
that an Arab came to the Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬and said, "Guide me to a deed by doing which I shall enter
paradise.” He said, “Worship God and associate nothing with Him, observe the prescribed prayer,
pay the obligatory zakat, and fast during Ramadan.” He replied, "By Him in whose hand my soul
is, I shall not add anything to this or fall short of it.” Then when he turned away the Prophet (‫)ﷺ‬
said, "If anyone wishes to look at a man who will be among the people of paradise, let him look at
this man.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

‘Uthman b. ‘Affan reported:
God's messenger said, “Whoever dies knowing that there is no God but Allah will enter paradise."

Narrated Abu Huraira:
"Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "By Him in Whose Hands my life is, none of you will have faith till
he loves me more than his father and his children."

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "Doesn't it astonish you how Allah protects me from the Quraish's
abusing and cursing? They abuse Mudhammam and curse Mudhammam while I am Muhammad
(and not Mudhammam).

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "I have been sent (as a Messenger) in the best of all the generations
of Adam's offspring since their Creation."

Narrated Jubair bin Mut'im:
Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "I have five names: I am Muhammad and Ahmad; I am Al-Mahi
through whom Allah will eliminate infidelity; I am Al-Hashir who will be the first to be resurrected,
the people being resurrected thereafter; and I am also Al-`Aqib (i.e., There will be no prophet after
me)."

Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Messenger of Allah ‫ ﷺ‬said, "Do you see if there was a river at the door of one of you, in
which he bathes five times a day, would any dirt remain on him?" They said, "No dirt would
remain on him." He said, "That is the example of the five prayers by which Allah erases sins."

The Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said, "The two rak'ahs before the dawn (Fajr) prayer are better than this world and
all it contains."

Narrated Ubadah ibn as-Samit:

The Messenger of Allah ‫ ﷺ‬said, "Allah has obligated five prayers upon His servants. Whoever
performs them, without neglecting any of them out of disregard, has a covenant with Allah that
He will admit him to Paradise. But whoever does not perform them has no covenant with Allah;
if He wills, He will punish him, and if He wills, He will forgive him."

Narrated Abu Huraira:
I heard the Messenger of Allah ‫ ﷺ‬say, "The first deed for which a person will be brought to
account on the Day of Judgment will be his prayer. If it is sound, he will be successful and saved;
but if it is defective, he will fail and lose."

Narrated Abu Aiyub:

A man said to the Prophet (‫" )ﷺ‬Tell me of such a deed as will make me enter Paradise." The people
said, "What is the matter with him? What is the matter with him?" The Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "He has
something to ask. (What he needs greatly) The Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said: (In order to enter Paradise) you
should worship Allah and do not ascribe any partners to Him, offer prayer perfectly, pay the Zakat
and keep good relations with your Kith and kin." (See Hadith No. 12, Vol 8).

‫ ث َّم يَأخذ هب هله هْز َمتَ ْي هه ـ يَ ْعنهي ه‬،‫ط َّوقه يَ ْو َم ا ْل هقيَا َمةه‬
َ.‫الَّ هذينَ يَ ْب َخلونَ } اآليَة‬

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "Whoever is made wealthy by Allah and does not pay the Zakat of
his wealth, then on the Day of Resurrection his wealth will be made like a baldheaded poisonous
male snake with two black spots over the eyes. The snake will encircle his neck and bite his cheeks
and say, 'I am your wealth, I am your treasure.' " Then the Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬recited the holy verses:--
'Let not those who withhold . . .' (to the end of the verse). (3:180).

‫‪that Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari told him that the Messenger of Allah said: "Isbagh Al-Wudu is half of‬‬
‫‪faith; Alhamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) fills the balance; the Tasbih and the Takbir fill the heavens‬‬
‫;‪and Earth; the Salah is light; the Zakah is a sign (of sincerity); patience is an illuminating torch‬‬

‫‪Narrated Abu Huraira:‬‬
Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "Fasting is a shield (or a screen or a shelter). So, the person observing
fasting should avoid sexual relation with his wife and should not behave foolishly and impudently,
and if somebody fights with him or abuses him, he should tell him twice, 'I am fasting." The
Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬added, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, the smell coming out from the mouth of
a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk. (Allah says about the fasting
person), 'He has left his food, drink and desires for My sake. The fast is for Me. So, I will reward
(the fasting person) for it and the reward of good deeds is multiplied ten times."

Narrated Sahl:
The Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts
will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it. It will
be said, 'Where are those who used to observe fasts?' They will get up, and none except them will
enter through it. After their entry the gate will be closed, and nobody will enter through it."

Narrated 'Alqama:
While I was walking with `Abdullah he said, "We were in the company of the Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬and he
said, 'He who can afford to marry should marry, because it will help him refrain from looking at
other women, and save his private parts from committing illegal sexual relation; and he who cannot
afford to marry is advised to fast, as fasting will diminish his sexual power."

‫"‪Jihad in Allah's Cause." He was then asked, "Which is next?" He said, "To perform Hajj-Mabrur.‬‬

Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "Whoever performs Hajj for Allah's pleasure and does not have sexual
relations with his wife and does not do evil or sins then he will return (after Hajj free from all sins)
as if he were born anew."

not say that 'Alif Lam Mim' is a letter, but 'Alif' is a letter, 'Lam' is a letter, and 'Mim' is a letter."

in a night?" They considered it burdensome and said: "Who among us can do that, O Messenger
of Allah?" He said: "'Say: He is Allah, the One' (Surah Al-Ikhlas) is equal to one-third of the
Qur'an."

Abu Huraira reported:
Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬as saying that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, thus stated: I am near to the
thought of My servant as he thinks about Me, and I am with him as he remembers Me. And if he
remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My Heart, and if he remembers Me in assembly
I remember him in assembly, better than his (remembrance), and if he draws near Me by the span
of a palm, I draw near him by the cubit, and if he draws near Me by the cubit I draw near him by
the space (covered by) two hands. And if he walks towards Me, I rush towards him.

Abu Huraira reported:

that Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬was travelling along the path leading to Mecca that he happened to
pass by a mountain called Jumdan. He said:
Proceed on, it is Jumdan, Mufarradun have gone ahead. They (the Companions of the Prophet)
said: Allah's Messenger (‫)ﷺ‬, who are Mufarradun? He said: They are those males and females
who remember Allah much.

Abu Huraira reported:

Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬as saying: Two are the expressions which are light on the tongue, but heavy
in scale, dear to the Compassionate One:" Hallowed be Allah and praise is due to Him”; Hallowed
be Allah, the Great."

Narrated Abu al-Darda:
The Messenger of Allah ‫ ﷺ‬said: "Shall I not inform you of the best of your deeds, the purest of
them with your Master, the highest of them in your ranks, better for you than spending gold and
silver, and better for you than meeting your enemy and striking their necks and they are striking
your necks?" They said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Remembrance of Allah the
Exalted."

Narrated Abdullah ibn Busr:
A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, the laws of Islam have become too many for me, so tell me
something I can hold onto." He said, "Keep your tongue moist with the remembrance of Allah."

Narrated Kathir ibn Qays:
Kathir ibn Qays said: I was sitting with Abud Darda' in the mosque of Damascus. A man came to
him and said: Abud Darda, I have come to you from the town of the Messenger of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬for a
tradition that I have heard you relate from the Messenger of Allah (‫)ﷺ‬. I have come for no other
purpose. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬say: If anyone travels on a road in search of
knowledge, Allah will cause him to travel on one of the roads of Paradise. The angels will lower
their wings in their great pleasure with one who seeks knowledge, the inhabitants of the heavens
and the Earth and the fish in the deep waters will ask forgiveness for the learned man. The
superiority of the learned man over the devout is like that of the moon, on the night when it is full,
over the rest of the stars. The learned are the heirs of the Prophets, and the Prophets leave neither
dinar nor dirham, leaving only knowledge, and he who takes it takes an abundant portion.

Abu Hurairah reported:
the Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬as saying: If anyone pursues a path in search of knowledge, Allah will thereby
make easy for him a path to paradise; and he who is made slow by his actions will not be speeded
by his genealogy.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
that the Messenger of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬said: "For whomever Allah wants good, he gives him
understanding in the religion.

Narrated Simak bin Hard:
"I heard 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud narrating from his father who said: 'I heard
the Messenger of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬saying: 'May Allah gladden a man who hears something from us, so
he conveys it as he heard it. Perhaps the one it is conveyed to is more understanding than the one
who heard it.'"

Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "Envy is permitted only in two cases: A man whom Allah gives wealth, and
he disposes of it rightfully, and a man to whom Allah gives knowledge which he applies and
teaches it." [Al- Bukhari and Muslim].

Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Messenger of Allah ‫ ﷺ‬said: "Whoever calls others to guidance will have a reward equal to
the reward of those who follow him, without their reward being diminished in any respect."

Narrated Abū Umāmah al-Bāhilī:

Two men were mentioned before the Messenger of Allah ‫ﷺ‬, one a worshiper and the other a
scholar. The Messenger of Allah ‫ ﷺ‬said, "The superiority of the scholar over the worshiper is like
my superiority over the least of you." Then he said, "Indeed Allah, His angels, the inhabitants of
the heavens and the earth—even the ant in its hole and the fish—send blessings upon the one who
teaches the people good."
