PREFACE
I am pleased to present this project report on "Financial
Accounting" as part of the curriculum for the B.Com Sem - II.
This project has been undertaken to deepen my understanding
of the fundamental principles and practices of financial
accounting, which play a vital role in any business organization.
The objective of this project is to explore various aspects of
financial accounting, such as journal entries, ledger postings,
trial balance, and preparation of final accounts. Through this
study, I have gained practical knowledge of how financial data
is recorded, classified, and summarized to provide useful
information for decision-making.
This report is the outcome of careful study, reference work, and
guidance from my faculty, for which I am truly grateful. I have
