To whom it may concern, hello , good morning , my name is Amr Galal Ahmed Algendy ,
an Egyptian citizen living in cairo , Egypt. I am a software engineer and I work as
an information technology engineer (IT) in Cairo Specialized Hospital. I have a
bachelor's degree in computer science from Ain Shams University. I plan to study
Portuguese in Porto at the Royal Language School and after communicating with them
I booked a special course with a private teacher because I always wanted to improve
myself through acquiring a second foreign language in addition to the English
language, as this will open up many fields for me to work in big institutions in
Egypt.
I chose to learn and master the Portuguese language after mastering my English
because it is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world especially in
Egypt through new commercial projects, education, sports, technology, tourism on a
larger scale, and even start up companies in Egypt, this has made it a growing base
of customer services. Moreover, business owners are directing their efforts to
employ programming engineers who have more than one foreign language, and the
Portuguese language has a greater interest and share in their projects after the
English language. I already speak the English language fluently, so I decided to
study Portuguese from a school in the country itself in order to master the
language.
I decided to study Portuguese in Portugal after I traveled to Portugal on a trip
touring cities like Lisbon and Porto. This made me more impressed and determined
with the Portuguese culture, language, and people. This is the main reason for
choosing the Royal Language School in Porto, and the other reason is that I did not
succeed in obtaining a good opportunity to learn Portuguese professionally in
Egypt. I have had registered for learning The Portuguese language at a center in
Egypt called Ramses Center, but the studies were non-academic and the courses were
not accredited in addition, it took a lot of time as I was progressing very slowly.
So I decided to go to the origin of the language in a Portuguese school with local
people as well.
This will break the barrier of fear of speaking Portuguese and this will greatly
contribute to me speaking more like native speakers and getting to know the culture
of Portugal closely.
Therefore, while I was searching for the best private schools through which I could
communicate with skillful teachers, and also from the reviews of the previous
students , I contacted the Royal Language School and they have great customer
service and are always in communicating and understanding of my situation and that
I will take a limited vacation from work and that after this period I must return
to my main, professional work in Egypt. Therefore my mission in the city of Porto
will be academic achievement in order to be able to learn the language. Therefore,
I applied for the intensive course through registration and asked the principal of
the school in Porto for a special discussion for studies specific to my case after
which I did not hesitate to send the registration money and take a short vacation
from my main work as
I have to resume work in Egypt as soon as I complete the intensive course.
