God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD.
For the Son of
man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he
shall reward every man according to his works. Even so dealt David with
all the cities of the children of Ammon. And it shall come to pass,
[that] in the place where it was said unto them, Ye [are] not my people;
there shall they be called the children of the living God. In the days of
Pekah king of Israel came Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, and took Ijon,
and Abelbethmaachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and
Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and carried them captive to Assyria.
But the servants of the king would not put forth their hand to fall upon
the priests of the LORD. Saith the LORD. For the greatness of thine
iniquity are thy skirts discovered, [and] thy heels made bare. Wherefore
it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived,
that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, [saying], Because I have
asked him of the LORD. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat
on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was
found no place for them. And it is yet far more evident: for that after
the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, Who is made,
not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an
endless life. Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of
great waters, from the hand of strange children; Whose mouth speaketh
vanity, and their right hand [is] a right hand of falsehood. The virgin
of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her
land; [there is] none to raise her up. Yea, though they have hired among
the nations, now will I gather them, and they shall sorrow a little for
the burden of the king of princes. And as soon as it was day, the elders
of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and
led him into their council, saying, Art thou the Christ? I have raised
him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build
my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith
the LORD of hosts. And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year,
in the first [month], in the first [day] of the month, the word of the
LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon
caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head [was]
made bald, and every shoulder [was] peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his
army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it: Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto
Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take
her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army. And
these [are] the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit [is] a
cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom [shall be] a cubit, and the
breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about
[shall be] a span: and this [shall be] the higher place of the altar.
LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our
works in us. But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and
the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and
Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts. And they burnt all their
cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles, with fire. A
servant will not be corrected by words: for though he understand he will
not answer. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as
the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying,
Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. He was taken from prison
and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? [Set] the
trumpet to thy mouth. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. Therefore
it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine
enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee [for]
an inheritance to possess it, [that] thou shalt blot out the remembrance
of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget [it]. And if he smite
him with throwing a stone, wherewith he may die, and he die, he [is] a
murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. For of thorns men do
not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. Then did the
cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory
of the God of Israel [was] over them above. [As] an earring of gold, and
an ornament of fine gold, [so is] a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.
For [thou] only [art] holy: for all nations shall come and worship before
thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. Therefore shalt thou give
presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib [shall be] a lie to the
kings of Israel. And the sons of Caleb the son of Jephunneh; Iru, Elah,
and Naam: and the sons of Elah, even Kenaz. While he yet spake, behold, a
bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud,
which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye
him. All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless
thee. But the LORD [is] with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my
persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be
greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: [their] everlasting
confusion shall never be forgotten. Thy vows [are] upon me, O God: I will
render praises unto thee. What [ailed] thee, O thou sea, that thou
fleddest? For we must needs die, and [are] as water spilt on the ground,
which cannot be gathered up again; neither doth God respect [any] person:
yet doth he devise means, that his banished be not expelled from him. And
out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbs, Gibbethon with her
suburbs, Aijalon with her suburbs, Gathrimmon with her suburbs; four
cities. O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your
wisdom. If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, thou
shalt surely bring it back to him again. And Elisha saw [it], and he
cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen
thereof. Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his
soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this [is] the time of the
LORD’S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence. Who [is] this
[that] cometh up as a flood, whose waters are moved as the rivers? He
shall not see the rivers, the floods, the brooks of honey and butter. And
power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with
sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter
for ever. And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one
that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the
counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it. [His]
scales [are his] pride, shut up together [as with] a close seal. And the
house of Joseph, they also went up against Bethel: and the LORD [was]
with them. Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy
righteousness. Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise
man, and he will love thee. And blessed [is] she that believed: for there
shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle [that] hasteth to
the prey. Maschil of David; A Prayer when he was in the cave. But I know
thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me.
And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD
our God all these [things] unto us? Who can understand [his] errors? Be
not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches,
[take heed] lest he also spare not thee. And she said unto them, Thus
saith the LORD God of Israel, Tell the man that sent you to me, Thus
saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the
inhabitants thereof, [even] all the words of the book which the king of
Judah hath read: Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense
unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works
of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place,
and shall not be quenched. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, This
[is] the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto
the LORD in the day when he is anointed; the tenth part of an ephah of
fine flour for a meat offering perpetual, half of it in the morning, and
half thereof at night. But God prepared a worm when the morning rose the
next day, and it smote the gourd that it withered. Paul also and Barnabas
continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with
many others also. But he knoweth not that the dead [are] there; [and
that] her guests [are] in the depths of hell. And with them, by their
generations, after the house of their fathers, [were] bands of soldiers
for war, six and thirty thousand [men]: for they had many wives and sons.
Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of
these things which ye have spoken come upon me. And I will give children
[to be] their princes, and babes shall rule over them. Wherefore should
the heathen say, Where [is] their God? And this [is] the charge of their
burden, according to all their service in the tabernacle of the
congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the
pillars thereof, and sockets thereof, And the pillars of the court round
about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their
instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall reckon the
instruments of the charge of their burden. And they said unto Joshua, We
[are] thy servants. O my mountain in the field, I will give thy substance
[and] all thy treasures to the spoil, [and] thy high places for sin,
throughout all thy borders. And the sons of Gad; Ziphion, and Haggi,
Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli. This [is] the law of the
beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the
waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth: To make a
difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that
may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten. And if the servant
shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not
go out free: Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall
also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall
bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him for ever. They
profess that they know God; but in works they deny [him], being
abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. What
therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them? And they clothed
him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his
[head], And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews! And they smote
him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing [their]
knees worshipped him. But I speak this by permission, [and] not of
commandment. And Simon and they that were with him followed after him. He
came therefore, and took the body of Jesus. [As for] Ephraim, their glory
shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from
the conception. Did not he that made me in the womb make him? Behold, I
will plead with thee, because thou sayest, I have not sinned. Canst thou
bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? For whosoever shall be ashamed of me
and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall
come in his own glory, and [in his] Father’s, and of the holy angels.
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel,
saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason
of a dead body, or [be] in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the
passover unto the LORD. Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of
his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul. The sceptre shall not depart
from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and
unto him [shall] the gathering of the people [be]. For upon the first
[day] of the first month began he to go up from Babylon, and on the first
[day] of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, according to the good hand
of his God upon him. And these [are] the kings that reigned in the land
of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel. And
Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the servants of David, went out, and met
together by the pool of Gibeon: and they sat down, the one on the one
side of the pool, and the other on the other side of the pool. But they
set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to
defile it. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of
the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from
the door, and sat upon it. Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the
LORD, O house of Aaron: Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the
LORD, bless the LORD. Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me,
and sat before me. And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put
it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and
put a gold chain about his neck; And he made him to ride in the second
chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he
made him [ruler] over all the land of Egypt. And if ye will receive [it],
this is Elias, which was for to come. And when they arose early on the
morrow morning, behold, Dagon [was] fallen upon his face to the ground
before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of
his hands [were] cut off upon the threshold; only [the stump of] Dagon
was left to him. Yet the children of Manasseh could not drive out [the
inhabitants of] those cities; but the Canaanites would dwell in that
land. And the king said, Thou shalt surely die, Ahimelech, thou, and all
thy father’s house. Behold, as the eyes of servants [look] unto the
hand of their masters, [and] as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her
mistress; so our eyes [wait] upon the LORD our God, until that he have
mercy upon us. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew [is as]
the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. [Now] the king
spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he
will deliver thee. For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am
not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our
boasting, which [I made] before Titus, is found a truth. In like manner
thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, [and] with thy oliveyard. Now
Elisabeth’s full time came that she should be delivered; and she
brought forth a son. And it came to pass about an eight days after these
sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to
pray. A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet.
If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? Wait on the
LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when
the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see [it]. The LORD shall go forth as a
mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry,
yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies. And Adam said, This [is]
now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman,
because she was taken out of Man. And when the seventh month was come,
and the children of Israel [were] in the cities, the people gathered
themselves together as one man to Jerusalem. So the singers, Heman,
Asaph, and Ethan, [were appointed] to sound with cymbals of brass; And
Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab,
and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries on Alamoth; And Mattithiah,
and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with
harps on the Sheminith to excel. The poor is hated even of his own
neighbour: but the rich [hath] many friends. And David took the shields
of gold that were on the servants of Hadarezer, and brought them to
Jerusalem. For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would
not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him,
to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost. My heart is inditing a good
matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my
tongue [is] the pen of a ready writer. And they reasoned with themselves,
saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye
him not? And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended,
he afterward hungered. Then all the princes of the sea shall come down
from their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their broidered
garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit
upon the ground, and shall tremble at [every] moment, and be astonished
at thee. But Benhadad [was] drinking himself drunk in the pavilions, he
and the kings, the thirty and two kings that helped him. And his
concubine that [was] in Shechem, she also bare him a son, whose name he
called Abimelech. Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he
hath made in the earth. Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man
shall devote unto the LORD of all that he hath, [both] of man and beast,
and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every
devoted thing [is] most holy unto the LORD. [Make haste], O God, to
deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD. And the daughter of Tyre
[shall be there] with a gift; [even] the rich among the people shall
intreat thy favour. Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall
destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.
Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred
and threescore and six talents of gold; Beside [that which] chapmen and
merchants brought. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy
holy spirit from me. And now [art] thou cursed from the earth, which hath
opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand; When
thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her
strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. And the
seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The
kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his
Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. ([And] this taxing was
first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be
taxed, every one into his own city. Or what hast thou to do in the way of
Assyria, to drink the waters of the river? And I will set the Egyptians
against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his
brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, [and]
kingdom against kingdom. When they [were] at the great stone which [is]
in Gibeon, Amasa went before them. [Of] a talent of pure gold made he it,
and all the vessels thereof. But this [is] a people robbed and spoiled;
[they are] all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison
houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none
saith, Restore. Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler
over all that he hath. And he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head
and his fat: and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that [is]
on the fire which [is] upon the altar: But he shall wash the inwards and
the legs with water: and the priest shall bring [it] all, and burn [it]
upon the altar: it [is] a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a
sweet savour unto the LORD. The words of wise [men are] heard in quiet
more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools. And on the other side
Jordan by Jericho eastward, they assigned Bezer in the wilderness upon
the plain out of the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead out of the
tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan out of the tribe of Manasseh. Do ye
thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? He that rebuketh a
man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the
tongue. And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had
forgotten to take bread. For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal
for you, and them [that are] in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis. And
there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD
knew face to face, In all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent
him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and
to all his land, And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror
which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel. The daughter of Egypt
shall be confounded; she shall be delivered into the hand of the people
of the north. Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice
overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness,
[but] we walk in darkness. 1And let these my words, wherewith I have made
supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the LORD our God day and
night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his
people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require: 1That all the
people of the earth may know that the LORD [is] God, [and that there is]
none else. Now thou art commanded, this do ye; take you wagons out of the
land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your
father, and come. Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto
you, Inasmuch as ye did [it] not to one of the least of these, ye did
[it] not to me. Also can [any] understand the spreadings of the clouds,
[or] the noise of his tabernacle? Now therefore ye with the council
signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you to morrow,
as though ye would inquire something more perfectly concerning him: and
we, or ever he come near, are ready to kill him. And the chief butler
told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine
[was] before me; And in the vine [were] three branches: and it [was] as
though it budded, [and] her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof
brought forth ripe grapes: And Pharaoh’s cup [was] in my hand: and I
took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and I gave the
cup into Pharaoh’s hand. And when inquisition was made of the matter,
it was found out; therefore they were both hanged on a tree: and it was
written in the book of the chronicles before the king. And, ye masters,
do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your
Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. And Jared lived
an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch: And Jared lived after
he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all
the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died. For
I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. And
they filled them up to the brim. And they gave their hands that they
would put away their wives; and [being] guilty, [they offered] a ram of
the flock for their trespass. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the
servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends;
for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other
apostles, and [as] the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas? In God [is] my
salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, [and] my refuge, [is] in
God. And we went over the brook Zered. And the number of them, after
their genealogy by their generations, heads of the house of their
fathers, mighty men of valour, [was] twenty thousand and two hundred. And
thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps
thereof, that they may give light over against it. For Israel slideth
back as a backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a
large place. And the man refused to smite him. Then said they to him
again, What did he to thee? And a certain man of the sons of the prophets
said unto his neighbour in the word of the LORD, Smite me, I pray thee.
And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more,
save Jesus only with themselves. And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus,
There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people
in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws [are] diverse from
all people; neither keep they the king’s laws: therefore it [is] not
for the king’s profit to suffer them. And Elijah the Tishbite, [who
was] of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, [As] the LORD God of
Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these
years, but according to my word. And what concord hath Christ with
Belial? For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth
behold the upright. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto
Aaron, saying, Whosoever [he be] of thy seed in their generations that
hath [any] blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.
And he said unto him, What [is] thy name? 1And king Solomon raised a levy
out of all Israel; and the levy was thirty thousand men. And the voice
[spake] unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, [that]
call not thou common. When they swooned as the wounded in the streets of
the city, when their soul was poured out into their mothers’ bosom.
Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right? Yet thou
shalt see the land before [thee]; but thou shalt not go thither unto the
land which I give the children of Israel. The men of Michmas, an hundred
and twenty and two. Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he
eateth grass as an ox. They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A
little while? And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the
space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the
kingdom of God. And they said, Lord, behold, here [are] two swords. Which
Shelomith and his brethren [were] over all the treasures of the dedicated
things, which David the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over
thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated. And
for a drink offering thou shalt offer the third [part] of an hin of wine,
[for] a sweet savour unto the LORD. And he said unto them, Know ye not
this parable? At the end of [every] seven years thou shalt make a
release. Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him,
saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee. Abraham believed God, and
it was counted unto him for righteousness. And I saw another sign in
heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues;
for in them is filled up the wrath of God. Their land brought forth frogs
in abundance, in the chambers of their kings. Thou hast broken down all
his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin. And it is the
Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. The LORD
redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him
shall be desolate. Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee
now? In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. I was wroth with my
people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand:
thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily
laid thy yoke. Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the first [month], in the
first [day] of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without
blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary: And the priest shall take of the
blood of the sin offering, and put [it] upon the posts of the house, and
upon the four corners of the settle of the altar, and upon the posts of
the gate of the inner court. They answered and said unto him, If he were
not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee. And let
us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we
faint not. I [am for] peace: but when I speak, they [are] for war. And
also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his
labour, it [is] the gift of God. She considereth a field, and buyeth it:
with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. These [are] the sons
of Gilead: [of] Jeezer, the family of the Jeezerites: of Helek, the
family of the Helekites: And [of] Asriel, the family of the Asrielites:
and [of] Shechem, the family of the Shechemites: And [of] Shemida, the
family of the Shemidaites: and [of] Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.
And he said, Thus saith the LORD, [Even] by the young men of the princes
of the provinces. And they made proclamation throughout Judah and
Jerusalem unto all the children of the captivity, that they should gather
themselves together unto Jerusalem; And that whosoever would not come
within three days, according to the counsel of the princes and the
elders, all his substance should be forfeited, and himself separated from
the congregation of those that had been carried away. For I the LORD thy
God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help
thee. Yet they tempted and provoked the most high God, and kept not his
testimonies: But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their fathers:
they were turned aside like a deceitful bow. The children of Hariph, an
hundred and twelve. But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among
themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the
inheritance may be ours. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he
saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou
prepared me: In burnt offerings and [sacrifices] for sin thou hast had no
pleasure. John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace [be] unto
you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come;
and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; And from Jesus
Christ, [who is] the faithful witness, [and] the first begotten of the
dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Hell and destruction are
never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied. And the children of
Israel journeyed, and came unto their cities on the third day. And the
LORD spake unto Moses, saying, And I, behold, I have taken the Levites
from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that
openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites

that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me
all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I

prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day: 1That thine eyes
may be open toward this house night and day, [even] toward the place of
which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken
unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place. He that
