Lab rules
The reports will be graded with 0 - 3 points per report.
• 3 points: Overall good report in form, structure, discussion of results
and error analysis
• 2 points: Minor flaws, e.g. incomplete captions, wrongly typed units,
inaccuracies in the discussion
• 1 points: Insufficient reports, but some reasonable ideas at least
• 0 point: Largely incomplete, totally spurious analysis, omission of major
evaluation steps
• In case of fraud, your collected points are reset to zero
• In order to earn the attestation, you need to do each of the
five experiments and collect 10 points in total

Fundamentals of Physics 7
Written exam
• In the end of the semester (date not fixed yet)
• questions similar to the exercises (but cover more
than one chapter)
• no team work!
• usually <30% of all students pass the exam
• >80% of those students joining the exercises and
the lab experiments pass the exam
