LOGICAL DESIGN AND COMPUTER ARCHITECTURE

PROJECT ASSIGNMENT

• In the Project homework, you must select a topic from the following link. Then, you must write
MIPS assembly code of the selected topic. Also, you must analyze the code using QtSpim
simulator. Then you must prepare a report.
• The report must include project team’s number and name-surname information, assembly
codes of the problem and comments, screenshots from simulator.
• It will be a group work. The groups must include 3 people.
• Write all of student’s name in the project team next to your chosen topic.
• You can offer different topics. (Communicate with me)
• The projects will be evaluated as oral defense in the classroom.

Deadlines

• The deadline for uploading the reports (studentnumber.pdf) to SABİS : May 11, 2025 23:50
One of the group members uploading is enough.
• On May 12, 2025 between 14:00.-17:00 in the classroom (1107), homeworks will be presented
with an oral defense.
• The project exam is carried out in the form of oral defense. All group members must attend
the project defense. The project of the group member(s) who do not participate in the
defense is considered unsuccessful.
• During the defense, questions can be asked to a randomly selected member of the group. All
the group members may not get the same score.
• Homeworks are not submitted and presented on time will not be evaluated. Messages on this
subject will not be answered. Therefore, please submit the project in time.
