WHAT IS AI?
.Artificial Inteliligence is the development of
computer systems that are able to perform task
that would require human intelligence.
.It has the ability to think ,learn, and stimulate
human mental proceses like perceiving,
reasoning,learning.
.AI can independently perform complex tasks
that once required human input.
HISTORY OF AI
.1940s-1950s: Foundations
.1943: McCulloch and Pitts propose artificial neurons.
.1950: Alan Turing introduces the Turing Test.
.1956: The term "artificial intelligence" is coined at the Dartmouth Conference.
.1950s-1970s: Early Developments
.1956-1966: Early AI programs like the Logic Theorist and ELIZA emerge.
.1970s: Focus on expert systems, with MYCIN for medical diagnosis.
.1974-1980: AI WinterDisillusionment due to unmet expectations leads to reduced funding and
interest.
.1980s-1990s: Revival1980s: Growth of expert systems in business.
.1997: IBM’s Deep Blue defeats chess champion Garry Kasparov.
.1990s-2000s: Machine Learning EmergenceShift towards machine learning and statistical methods;
consumer robotics gain popularity with products like Roomba
.2010s: Deep Learning Revolution
.2012: Breakthrough in image recognition with deep learning models.
.2014: AlphaGo defeats a Go champion, highlighting advanced AI capabilities.
.2020s: Current Era2020: Release of GPT-3, advancing natural language processing.Ongoing
discussions about AI ethics, regulation, and societal impact.

CATEGORIES OF AI
NARROW AI(WEAK AI)
Narrow AI, also known as Weak AI, refers to artificial
intelligence systems that are designed and trained to
perform specific tasks or solve particular problems.
Unlike General AI (Strong AI), which would possess the
ability to understand and learn any intellectual task that a
human can, Narrow AI is focused on a singular domain
and operates within predefined parameters.
GENERAL AI(STRONG AI)
.General AI, also known as Strong AI or Artificial
General Intelligence (AGI), refers to a type of artificial
intelligence that possesses the ability to understand,
learn, and apply intelligence across a wide range of
tasks, similar to human cognitive abilities. Unlike
Narrow AI, which is specialized for specific tasks,
General AI can adapt to new situations, reason, and
understand complex concepts.
STRONG AI

Strong AI, often synonymous with Artificial General

Intelligence (AGI), refers to a type of artificial
intelligence that possesses the ability to
understand, learn, and apply knowledge in a way
that is indistinguishable from human intelligence.
Strong AI is characterized by its capacity for
generalization across various tasks, reasoning, and
problem-solving, much like a human being.
PROBLEMS SOLVED BY AI
1. Healthcare
2. Finance
3.Marketing and sales
4. Transportation
5.Education
6.Customer service
7.Logisitic
8.Energy management
9.Cyber security
10.Mental health
APPLICATIONS OF AI
AI IN REAL TIME
1. HealthcareReal-Time Patient Monitoring: AI algorithms analyze data from wearable devices and
medical sensors to provide real-time insights into patient health, alerting medical staff to any
abnormalities.Telemedicine: AI-powered chatbots and virtual health assistants provide instant
medical advice and symptom analysis, enabling timely interventions.
2. 2. FinanceFraud Detection: AI systems analyze transactions in real-time to identify suspicious
activity, preventing fraud before it occurs.Algorithmic Trading: AI algorithms execute trades at
high speeds based on market conditions and real-time data analysis, optimizing investment
strategies.
3. 3. TransportationAutonomous Vehicles: Self-driving cars use AI to process data from sensors
and cameras in real-time, making immediate decisions for navigation and safety.Traffic
Management Systems: AI analyzes traffic flow data to optimize signal timings and reduce
congestion in urban areas
4. .4. Retail and E-commerceDynamic Pricing: AI adjusts product prices in real-time based on
demand, competition, and inventory levels, maximizing sales and profit margins.Customer
Service Chatbots: AI-driven chatbots provide instant responses to customer inquiries,
enhancing the shopping experience.
5. TelecommunicationsNetwork Optimization: AI monitors network performance in real-time,
identifying issues and optimizing bandwidth allocation to ensure high-quality
service.Customer Support: AI systems analyze customer interactions and feedback in real-
time, enabling faster resolution of issues.
6. ManufacturingPredictive Maintenance: AI analyzes machine data in real-time to predict
failures, allowing for maintenance before issues lead to downtime.Quality Control: AI systems
inspect products on the production line in real-time, detecting defects and ensuring quality
standards are met.
7. Smart Homes and IoTHome Automation: AI-enabled devices respond to voice commands
and user preferences in real-time, adjusting settings for comfort and efficiency.Security
Systems: AI-powered cameras and sensors monitor home security, sending alerts to
homeowners in real-time when suspicious activity is detected
.8. MarketingReal-Time Analytics: AI analyzes customer data in real-time, allowing marketers
to adjust campaigns and strategies based on current performance metrics.Targeted
Advertising: AI systems deliver personalized ads to users based on their real-time behavior
and preferences.

FUTURE OF AI
Ai is rapidly changing the world and in future ai will
change every sectors growth like health care, education ,
manufacturing,customer service,marketing,etc
As we all know that ai is a booming field it will defenitly
bring a huge development in future .
CONTRAVERSIES OF AI
1. JOB DEPENDENCIES
2. DEPENDENCE ON AI
3. SECURITY RISK
4. ETHICAL ISSUES
5. LACK OF INTREST
6. PRIVACY CONCERNS
7. DE SKILLING
WHY AI MATTERS?
AI matters because it has the
potential to transform nearly every
aspect of our lives, driving efficiency,
innovation, and economic growth
while addressing complex societal
challenges. As AI continues to evolve,
its impact will likely expand, making it
crucial for individuals, businesses,
and governments to understand and
adapt to these changes for a
RESPONSIBLE AI USE
People should use their own creativity, not to copy
everything from ai
Ofcourse ai makes our works simpler but it also makes
us lazier than we think
Ofcourse ai can do works repeatedly but humans
should be considered and recogonised first
We should create a culture that uses creativity, empathy,
…….
