AIM: TO CONSTRUCT A POWER BANK

APPARATUS:
• PCB BOARD
• BATTERY
• TRANSISTOR {555 CMOS-IC}
• LED
• REISTOR {2.3 KΩ approximately}
• BATTERY
• USB PORT
• CONNECTING WIRE
• SOLDERING IRON
• SOLDERING WIRE
THEORY:
POWERBANK: A portable device used to charge the
phone
RESISTORS: The barrier to the flow of current is called
resistance. The devices which provide resistance is
called resistor.
TRANSISORS: It is a semiconductor device used to
switch electronic signal into electric power. It is
composed of semiconductor material with at least 3
terminals (base, emitter, collector) for conductance of
external circuits.
LED: Light emitting diode is two lead semiconductor
light source. It resembles PN junction diode, which
emits light when activated.
BATTERY: It is a device containing one or more cells
that convert chemical energy into electrical energy.
PRECAUTIONS:
• The connections should be properly arranged.
• Battery should be ideal.
• Fixed resistor of 2.3 KΩ

CIRCUIT DIAGRAM:
SOURCES OF ERROR:
• Resistance is greater or lesser than
2.3KΩ.
• Transistor is broken.

• Battery is not ideal.

• U.S.B port is broken.

• Voltage supplied greater than 3.5V.

RESULT:
• The Power bank of 10000mAh charges the phone
connected to the USB port
