The Board of Studies has approved the comprehensive syllabus for the
Resolution newly introduced Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program, (SP03PT)
for the first year. (Anncxurc IV)
To review the Exam Policy along with format of Question paper of
Agenda Number: 5
newly introduced program Bachelor of Physiotherapy (SP03PT).
The exam policy for the program BPT has been meticulously crafted and
reviewed to ensure it upholds the highest standards of academic integrity,
fairness, and comprehensive assessment of student competencies and as
per GSCPT 20 1 8 .
• The yearly exam schedule comprises three exams in total:
• l st Term End Internal exam
• 2nd Term End Prelim exam

University Final Exam
Assessment: The performance of every student in each course will
•
be evaluated based upon internal continuous assessment, for 20%
of the marks of the course; University examination through written
paper and/or practical examination for 80% of the marks of the
course.
Passing Criteria: Every student should have an aggregate score of
•
mmnmum 50% marks of combined In both the Internal and
University Examination but separately 1n theory and practical
examination. (It is not compulsory to pass in section - I and section

Students who are unable to successfully clear all subjects within a

given academic year w i l l not be pennitted to sit for examinations
in higher-level academic year.
• The exam papers feature a structured format with standardized
sections for various question types, including short answer, and
essay questions. Question design was meticulously crafted to
ensure clarity and alignment with learning objectives,
incorporating a mix of question types to comprehensively assess
student knowledge and skills.
• The Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree will only be conferred upon
student's successful completion of all Program Courses and
Internship requirements.
At the end students will receive Credits as follows:

Total hours of instruction(lectures, Practicals, 228 Credits
Clinical Education)
Internship Training Program(6 Months) 24 Credits
Grand Total 252 Credits
